| My wife and I were fortunate enough to have selected the absolute BEST tour company in New York City with the owner, Steve, as our tour director on that day. One thing in particular that impressed us was that Steve took the time to "teach" us about the city. This was my first visit and my wife had not been there in many years. We were taught how the city was laid out in districts, neighborhoods, etc. We took the Royal tour which I absolutely recommend for a first time visitor but also for those who may have visited before but still do not understand how the city works. Steve talked with us about the little church across from Ground Zero which we never heard anything about in the news. He explained how the city was one of the safest in the world now. And, I agree. After the tour my wife and I felt so much more comfortable and knowledgeable about New York City. We really felt safe. Police officers are everywhere, in cars, on foot and on horseback. We felt as though we were given "tender loving care" by Steve, "The King of New York". He stayed with us and was very prompt if he dropped us off so that we could have lunch or visit a particular site. We truely felt cared for. We live outside of Charlotte, NC which is a pretty big town certainly very small in comparison to NYC. And, as a "young Senior Citizen" it is important to be confident in those providing the services. My wife and I will look forward to recommending "Marvelous Manhattan Tours" to anyone planning a trip there. This was a wonderful, wonderful experience. We are most grateful to Steve for giving us a day filled with unforgettable memories!

| The tour was great because it gave you a good understanding and good overview
of Manhattan. When the tour is over you feel you know the whole layout of NYC.
The tour was interesting and exciting, not boiring like alot of tours. |

| My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We weren't sure if we would be up to 6 hours of riding around in a bus, but the tour was so interesting, so fun and educational, that we were disappointed when the tour did end. (All good things must come to an end!)
Steve took the time to get to know each of us, and by the end of the tour, we felt we were good friends. He is very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and takes great pride in this great city. We are from Texas, and are certainly proud of our great state, but after this tour, we were a little jealous! We wished we had the great history that New York City has!
We received a recommendation from a friend who took this tour, and we are so glad she referred us! Marvelous Manhattan Tours is beyond marvelous - it is superb!!

| The "provider" was on time and very pleasant. Had a definite "flair" for the City. He was very informative and enthusiastic about his delivery. We enjoyed our visit and would highly reccommend other travelers to do the same, |

| My wife and I (Steve: We were the newlyweds - who were pregnant - from California. Julienne and Carl) went on the tour on Thursday 12/28/06. Our In-laws had told us about this tour as they took it 2.5 years ago, they loved it - specifically they bragged about Steve.
Our fun started when we were early to the pick up point. Steve met us at the bus and joked with us about being early so we went over to a bakery and grabbed a quick bite. We showed back up to the bus (5 minutes before we were scheduled to leave) and he joked that we were now late. We loved the way quickly got to know each of us and made a great effort to remember each of or names.
Steve was just fantastic. Forst and foremost he loves NYC..it shows!! He knows NYC and it was just so informative. The perfect blend of going to the big sites and then being able to walk around and "touch and feel" them was perfect. How George drove around I have no idea. But we loved avery momentof the tour.
We expected a good time but we had a top ten experience that we will not forget. It was truly one of the highlights of our week long stay. The best compliment we can give Steve is that we hit the subways, walked around SoHo, Canal Street, Uptown, Downtown, Midtown, and soaked in all of the magic.
The only downside is the poor guy was getting called on his cell phone like he was working on the Stock exchange trading floor. His sense of humor and passion for the city made that tour the best that there is. Honestly, I don't know what the tour would be without Steve, I don't think it could exist without him.
If there is ever another tour say of Brooklyn/Bronx (maybe not gettng out to walk around - hahha) we would come to New York just to go on it - but only if Steve is giving the tour! Also, we were so impacted about the point he made about 9/11. How it was a horrific tragedy just terrible..but it was a miracle that only the number who were killed happened instead of the over 60K+ that worked in that building. Very true, unreported, and was an excellent point.
It was awesome!! It you had a rating higher then five stars we would give it. Thank you - Steve (and his wife...he went on and on how great she is...yadda, yadda, hahha)

| This was a fantastic start to our stay in New York; we would highly recommend it especially to anyone visiting NY for the first time, as we were. We saw so much in the time and were able to decide which places to revisit in the limited time we had. Steve was an excellent, humorous and very enthusiastic guide - a great ambassador for the city. We loved every minute of the tour - it really lived up to our expectations and was very good value for money. Fond memories from the folk from the "Fatherland" - as Steve kept calling us!! |

| Swanky is my new favorite "New York" term I learned from Stephen. He was so marvelous, we wanted to keep him for the whole trip!! We invited him to join us for the evening with his wife, but he had to take down the Christmas decorations instead. Oh well, mabey next time!
But yah, really. If you don't book this guy for a tour of NYC, you'll be really missing out on a GREAT opportunity to totally understand and appreciate this wonderful "swanky" little town!!
Hope you do the right thing and book it!!
Hey Stephen, do you still want me to send you those pictures I took on the tour? Just shoot me an e-mail, and you'll get them.
Thanks a million,

| Steve set the scene for the day with a warm greeting for the 3 couples and a single on our bus. Everybody was soon on first name terms and we had a great time discovering the real New York - the people as well as the sites. All the main sites were covered with frequent opportunities to get off the bus and walk round the sites/ take photos - the guide was informative and we gained a good perspective as to the history and current 'what is happening' view of NY - we were encouraged to ask questions along the route and had the opportunity to be flexible if more time was wanted at a site. All I can say that is that we a great day - the 6 hours flew by - I would recommend this as very good value for money compared to larger bus tours where you only listen to a commentary and cannot interact with your guide. Well done Steve! |

| What makes this tour excellent are two things:
1. Steve - the tour guide really knows and loves the city and provides great history
2. Small group size - the small bus and thus the small group really makes the tour more intimate. Steve calls everybody by name and we all had a great time.
I would definately recommend this tour and would not hesitate to take my children on it next time we are in the city. |

| From the moment we started, our personable tour guide gave us new and interesting information about all those things that make New York such a dynamic and exciting city. We learned anecdotal and factual information about the neighborhoods and landmarks that everyone recognizes; and we were given insight into the less-well-known aspects of New York that could only be uncovered by a real expert. Fttingly, we wound up our tour at Katz' deli, made famous in the movie "When Harry Met Sally." With a different twist, we would quote Meg Ryan with a "Yes, yes, yes" when it comes to recomending this tour. |
