Loved the tour and Steve's personality. Lot's of information. We took the tour our first full day and it really gave us a "lay of the land". We felt very secure the next day on our own exploring the city, then we knew uptown from downtown. Steve has lots of opinions on various subjects and I personally felt it was refreshing to hear his take on things, rather than the usual tour guide script.Totally worth the money. Katz Deli's was great for lunch. Never would have gone there if not for the tour.

We were not disappointed. We reserved for this tour because of what we read on the internet. We chose Marvelous Manhattan Tours because of the small size of the group and the method of transportation - small, comfortable van/bus.

it ws wonderful. Our guide, Steven, was great. He was humorous, accommadating and full of facts . He was also charming and gracious. His love for New York was very evident. The tour was wonderful. It gave a glimpse into the authentic part of the city, not just the tourist things. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

From the moment we started, our personable tour guide gave us new and interesting information about all those things that make New York such a dynamic and exciting city. We learned anecdotal and factual information about the neighborhoods and landmarks that everyone recognizes; and we were given insight into the less-well-known aspects of New York that could only be uncovered by a real expert. Fttingly, we wound up our tour at Katz' deli, made famous in the movie "When Harry Met Sally." With a different twist, we would quote Meg Ryan with a "Yes, yes, yes" when it comes to recomending this tour.

The "provider" was on time and very pleasant. Had a definite "flair" for the City. He was very informative and enthusiastic about his delivery. We enjoyed our visit and would highly reccommend other travelers to do the same,

| My wife and I were fortunate enough to have selected the absolute BEST tour company in New York City with the owner, Steve, as our tour director on that day. One thing in particular that impressed us was that Steve took the time to "teach" us about the city. This was my first visit and my wife had not been there in many years. We were taught how the city was laid out in districts, neighborhoods, etc. We took the Royal tour which I absolutely recommend for a first time visitor but also for those who may have visited before but still do not understand how the city works. Steve talked with us about the little church across from Ground Zero which we never heard anything about in the news. He explained how the city was one of the safest in the world now. And, I agree. After the tour my wife and I felt so much more comfortable and knowledgeable about New York City. We really felt safe. Police officers are everywhere, in cars, on foot and on horseback. We felt as though we were given "tender loving care" by Steve, "The King of New York". He stayed with us and was very prompt if he dropped us off so that we could have lunch or visit a particular site. We truely felt cared for. We live outside of Charlotte, NC which is a pretty big town certainly very small in comparison to NYC. And, as a "young Senior Citizen" it is important to be confident in those providing the services. My wife and I will look forward to recommending "Marvelous Manhattan Tours" to anyone planning a trip there. This was a wonderful, wonderful experience. We are most grateful to Steve for giving us a day filled with unforgettable memories!

Living in NJ and only 13 miles from the city, we have come to the city many times and visited individual sites but never took a tour. This tour was recommended by a friend who enjoyed it. We have taken tours of other cities and decided to try it. We found the tour entertaining and informative. Steve, the owner and tour director, is personable and knowledgeable. We have already recommended it to family and friends. A group of friends who regularly exchange Xmas gifts have decided to take this tour together in lieu of shopping for each other. Thanks, Steve. Nice Job!

The background information given by the guide helped us understand the different areas of Manhattan so we could later go to any area for an in depth visit. We were impressed by the cleanliness and safety of the city. It was easy for us to traverse the city after our tour.

Steven is a showman with a lot of information. The time spent with him was energetic and enlightening. He added great insight into stone buildings and neighborhoods, not just regurgitaing facts. He made you feel the heart of the city.
