| Good trip in that it covered large number of main sights of Manhattan. However we did not enjoy the trip due to the personality, manner and lack of interpersonal skills of guide/driver. He never introduced himself by name. Unnervingly he frequently had both hands off the wheel whilst the vehicle was moving forward, one hand on the microphone, one waving in the air and head turned to one side to address us.
He preached/talked at us rather than to us, in long monologues, in an unnecessarily loud voice. He had an overbearing manner and made derogatory remarks about us being boring and useless. He insisted on giving us protracted accounts of his opinions, biased rather than balanced, eg that we should be moving on from the events of ground Zero and after all only 2,000= were actually killed there. He made no effort to coordinate what was a very small group. The notice at the front of the bus "Gratuities Welcome" was inappropriate. We did not heed this as we did not feel he deserved any. |

| Thank you for a wonderful tour. We not only enjoyed our day of touring New York City but learnt so much as well. It may have been the history of the city or just enjoying the wonderful sense of humor. We saw places and things that we would have easily missed if we had tried to see the city on our own. Thank you for a fanastic tour |

| I was glad because it was a tour of less than 10 people, any more than 15 would've been too much, I didn't hear what the guide was saying very well.
We stopped at some major sites. I would say we spent the most time at the World Financial Center viewing the former World Trade Center. The second thing we spent the most time doing was fake purse shopping in Chinatown. We spent about 30 minutes doing that. There were about 2 ladies (including the guide!) who stayed and did this, I just roamed around close by not knowing how much time they were going to be staying in this one store. That was a waste of time, considering we only spent 5 minutes TOTAL between the areas of Central Park, The FlatIron Building, and The Empire State Building. Oh yes, if you're a cupcake lover you'll enjoy Chelsea Square Market, we spent about a half hour in there as well cupcake shopping and brownie shopping. You don't get any close up views of the statue of liberty, we spent about 5 minutes, maybe less, viewing the distant statue, then left.
For $95, it wasn't worth it (especially if there was the maxiumum amount of guests of 35 people). If I had brought a partner along, I would have rather done a ONE on ONE tour with RealNewYorkTours.com (not affiliated), and you get to see alot more sights for $125pp and you get your very own tour guide. I guess this was ok for a first time visit to New York with limited time. |

| I decided to book this trip as it was a smaller bus and I hoped that it would be suitable for the elderly relatives travelling with us - it was more than suitable it was perfect.
Steve was an excellent guide with a never ending amount of knowledge and facts about New York. It was very enjoyable and at a pace that seemed to suit all of the people on the bus ( ages seemed to range from teenages up to 85 years)
I would highly recommend this tour |

| My family went on the Marvelous Manhatten Bus Tour on Apr. 11, 2009. We absolutely loved it! Our guide, Steve, did a great job and was very informative. He talked non-stop all day long and showed us many sights! I would highly recommend this tour for all ages! |

| Steve was an incredible guide - his experience and extensive knowledge of various aspects of the city makes this tour one of the best. His enthusiasm to answer questions and ability to make the information even more interesting makes this tour worth every penny and minute. Steve has set the pace and schedule to perfectly match the city and it really helps you feel less like a tourist. This was the perfect beginning to a vacation in NYC - a must for all those who visit whether it's your first or 101st trip. |
