Lovely and informative time

Living in NJ and only 13 miles from the city, we have come to the city many times and visited individual sites but never took a tour. This tour was recommended by a friend who enjoyed it. We have taken tours of other cities and decided to try it. We found the tour entertaining and informative. Steve, the owner and tour director, is personable and knowledgeable. We have already recommended it to family and friends. A group of friends who regularly exchange Xmas gifts have decided to take this tour together in lieu of shopping for each other. Thanks, Steve. Nice Job!

Our tour guide (Steve) was very knowledgeable. He was quite humerous, and held our interest by involving the entire group. We saw quite alot of the city and had the right amount of stops. The bus we were travelling in was very comfortable. Once again a great job. We will not hesitate to recommend this tour to our friends and family.

High Energy NYC Tour -- The Best!!

I've been on a variety of tours throughout my life, but rarely have I been on a tour that left me with such a "feeling" for the area as this one did. Rather than just a series of facts and figures, Stephen gave us the real flavor of New York. He described the people in places in such a way that you could really imagine what it would be like living there. In addition, rather than stopping for lunch at a sterile "Wendy's-type environment", he took us to a real New York deli -- Katz's -- and we ate with the locals. Stephen's energy level was amazing. I really appreciated the way he "told it like it is" instead of simply spouting off tired, politically safe facts. The tour was a great overview of New York. The next step would be if you could offer some specialized tours where maybe you just see two or three places in more detail. This was perfect for my first visit though. For those people who want a traditional non-emotional "to the left you see the Empire State Bldg." kind of tour, this may not be for you. But if you want a high energy in your face tour that will leave you with a real taste of New York, then i highly recommend it.

Marvelous Manhattan Tours is worth it!

We chose to do the Royal Tour and learned so much more about the City than we ever knew we needed to know! It was extremely informative, interesting, and puts things in perspective. Stephen is a walking history book and his love for the City shines! His buses are so much nicer and more comfortable than are the other over-crowded tour buses. We appreciated getting to see so many things we would not have been able to do ourselves since we had only a few days there. This is a great intro to the City; then you can choose to go back for longer visits at each of your favorite places since there's not enough time on the tour to stop at each place. It's also extremely courteous that we were called by our names all day. My family and I highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed our all day tour of New York City. Steve really knows the city and it seemed like we were on a private tour with the special consideration provided to us when needed. I highly recommend this tour to any and all.

We enjoyed the tour with the King of NYC. He was interesting and knowledgeable about the city, culture, history, and local flare. We learned alot and appreciated his attitiude and professionalism. We felt like he loves the city and the people who visit there. Steve helped us to have a better understanding of the city, its people, and how to get around town. Thanks we will do it again.

This was my third time to take this tour. I recommend it to everyone going to NYC. Since this was my daughter's first trip to NYC, we took the tour. It is a small group that allows for interaction between the tourists and the tour guide. We got great info that helped us understand the area better and enhanced the whole trip. It is planned with your comfort in mind and covers the best points of Manhattan. It is lengthy but worth the time spent.

Steve is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable, witty, personable. We went all over the city, saw most of the major landmarks and had a truly enjoyable day. My husband and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC.

Fantastic way to see N.Y. from a real New Yorker!

Steven the tour guide is great! The tour bus was comfortable, he answered all our questions and he's a character too. This was our first trip to N. Y. and it was great to get on and off the bus with the tour guide so that he can give us the history while we were in Grand Central station or in the Northern part of Central park (which was gorgeous in November). He's a New Yorker that has been running tours for 18 years so he knows his stuff. This is the personal attention we wanted compared to the sitting on the top of a bus getting sunburned partially listening to an announcer on the intercom. I will definitely come back to New York as soon as I can and I enthusiastically recomemend this tour!
