| This was a great tour! The tour guide was a lot of fun and also extremely knowledgeable about the city and its architecture and history. It was nice that the group was small and interactive with one another. |

| I searched diligently for a tour before my first visit to NYC in mid June. On this web site, I read a single sparse negative comment which I negated given the hundreds of positive ones, so I booked this tour knowing that even with a forecast of inclement weather it would be comfortable.
It was over and above and beyond what I could have anticipated and hoped for. It was the highlight of my first and short visit to NYC!
Steve is “The Whole Package Tour Guide” - skill, knowledge, ability, insight, patience, perception, energy, personality, professional, answers to questions, and tips and recommendations … all of this in abundance! Steve added so much more ie: tid bits of information and trivia and facts that were so interesting that I wanted to be sure to remember - so I took notes!!!!
Our group, with a fairly wide age spread, interacted easily and quickly with Steve's lead and there was at least one individual onboard that was referred by another repeat customer.
I can’t imagine a hop on / hop off nor a double decker tour listening to a commercial narration through a microphone after having taken this tour.
A Suggestion: Steve …. if you were to simply tape yourself on a few of your tours, you would have the makings to print a booklet full of information and fun and good to know facts that reflect your personality and knowledge that your guests would be happy to purchase at the end of the tour as a souvenir. Best Wishes for continued success!

| I was glad because it was a tour of less than 10 people, any more than 15 would've been too much, I didn't hear what the guide was saying very well.
We stopped at some major sites. I would say we spent the most time at the World Financial Center viewing the former World Trade Center. The second thing we spent the most time doing was fake purse shopping in Chinatown. We spent about 30 minutes doing that. There were about 2 ladies (including the guide!) who stayed and did this, I just roamed around close by not knowing how much time they were going to be staying in this one store. That was a waste of time, considering we only spent 5 minutes TOTAL between the areas of Central Park, The FlatIron Building, and The Empire State Building. Oh yes, if you're a cupcake lover you'll enjoy Chelsea Square Market, we spent about a half hour in there as well cupcake shopping and brownie shopping. You don't get any close up views of the statue of liberty, we spent about 5 minutes, maybe less, viewing the distant statue, then left.
For $95, it wasn't worth it (especially if there was the maxiumum amount of guests of 35 people). If I had brought a partner along, I would have rather done a ONE on ONE tour with RealNewYorkTours.com (not affiliated), and you get to see alot more sights for $125pp and you get your very own tour guide. I guess this was ok for a first time visit to New York with limited time. |

| I don't normally do tours, I read up on the subject and do it myself. But now I'm an old boy with less time than I want, I thought I'd get as many boxes ticked as quickly as possible. Steve ticked them for me, and many more besides! Knowledgeable, informative, witty, a cool driver, well organised and a good listener, which these guys often aren't. We bounced stuff to and fro, and I hope I wasn't a royal pain in the ass, but it seemed to work okay. As he said, I was an extrovert and couldn't stop myself, so let it roll. Steve is definitely on my recommend list. Great tour! |
