| We thoroughly enjoyed our fantastic tour with our host Steven at the wheel. Stevens supurb knowledge of New York City and the surrounds along with his humorous presentation was most enjoyable. From time to time Steven's opinions of none tour related items and of items of current events and/or political happenings were both outright funny and interesting. A full day of informative sight seeing and enjoyable conversation. Well worth the price of admission!

| I booked this rather pricey tour for a fcouple reasons.
1. It was recommended by Zerve.
2. The type of bus.
I received excellent service up until my pick up. Shortly after booking I found out that the first pick up was at the Waldorf - so I asked to be picked up there so that we could have a chance at the first row of seats. This was all accomodated and confirmed via emails.
The actual experience: Not only were we NOT on the list for pick up at the Waldorf (as the tour guide indicated) there were other people on the bus ahead of us - so it was not the first stop and we had no chance of getting the front seats.
The bus was not the beautiful one described but rather a cramped mini-van which was difficult to manouver in and out of and as well, you could see very little. A coach would have been much better. But we were looking forward to the 'special' bus and it was not there.
The host indicated that he was a victim of the current economic troubles - and that's why his bus is gone. He said he'd make it up with the information he had to offer. Well at the price paid, we wanted both the information and the bus.
Interestingly at the end of the tour he told us that this mini van had 5 more days to go and that his new bus (the 'nice' style) would be in his hands at that point. So he lied to us at the beginning - suggesting that the economic climate was the reason is bus was gone.
Overall, disappointing - we should have been given ample notice to allow us to properly decide and take appropriate steps to research and book into another tour. |

| My husband and I have just returned from a mini around the world holiday. We visited many cties and took numerous city tours. This tour with Steve was by far the best. Steve was such good fun and full of interesting information about his vibrant city. I wish I had a tape recorder to record all the information that he fed us. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see New York. The Pastrami on Rye at Katz deli is something you must try for lunch in NY. |

| The tour was well worth it for me travelling on my own to get my bearings, & to give me an overall 'picture' of New York City. It enabled me to feel more confident in venturing out on my own to more places. Good to meet others & the guide (Steve) was informative - a wealth of valuable knowledge. |

| Fantastic tour guide - excellent knowledge and a brilliant communicator. He definitely added to our enjoyment of the tour.
A perfect itinerary. We were only in NY for three days so couldn't possibly see everything. This tour gave us a flavour of Manhatten and enabled us to plan the rest of our stay. As Londoners we felt we had a real flavour of NY.
I have recommended this tour to everyone I know. Our stay in NY would definitely not have been as fantastic. |

| I could not say enough about this tour. If you have never experienced New York before, as my sisters and I had not, be sure to experience this Bus Tour. We chose the 7 hour tour, and it was worth EVERY cent, and more. Steve, our tour guide, taught us more about New York than even our nephew knows, WHO LIVES IN NEW JERSEY! We left New York with a huge desire to learn even more: Burroughs (5 in total), how to pronounce Houston properly, the TRUE meanings of Uptown, Midtown, Downtown and Crosstown, there are only 2 homes in Manhattan (wow!!!), the cost of renting in Manhattan (ridiculous!) etc. etc. etc.
Steve made it informative and entertaining, and the fact that he is 'easy on the eyes' did not hurt one bit. He made navigating through New York for the next 6 days a real treat, rather than a stressful adventure, as it is to many.
Pass all other Bus tours by, and jump on this one.
My only complaint would be where we had lunch. We were looking forward to experiencing Katz Deli, where that memorable scene from "When Harry Met Sally' was filmed, however it was so stressful and frantic, and those working there very abrupt and impatient, it really dampened our previously high spirits. The situation actually brought my sister to tears. Because of the line-ups both to order and to pay, I actually delayed the bus leaving by 10 minutes, for which I felt very bad about. I will admit though that that was absolutely the best Pastrami sandwich I have ever tasted! Just be prepared to be treated like a number, not a person when you get there.
Other than that, do NOT miss this tour - fantastic job Steve! Thank you, on behalf of my two sisters and I, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada - remember ('I'm sure that she is NICE"). : ) |

| I liked the areas which were covered, but our guide spent too much time with his opinions on everything. More facts regarding the city & the specific areas we were touring would have been better. |

| We enjoyed the full day tour of Manhattan very much. We covered a variety of sights and the information provided by our guide was most impressive. The tour was fun and educational. We appreciated being able to board the bus close to our mid-town hotel, and being dropped off there at the end of the tour. We have taken smaller sized tours before and find them to be vastly superior to large and impersonal tours. We could ask our guide questions and have them answered. Having a qualified guide from the region makes a huge difference. Steve is a passionate New Yorker, he clearly loves the city and wanted to share his enthusiasm with us. We were made to feel welcome and received many words of guidance on how to best utilize our time while visiting New York. We all agreed that this tour was an excellent introduction to Manhattan. We also appreciated the skills of our driver, navigating the busy streets and making adjustments to the route due to road closures, and never once making us feel nervous - nicely done. We would highly recommend this tour, I intend to pass this recommendation on to our travel agent for the benefit of her other clients. |
