| All the information that could be packed into 6 1/2 hours was given, in a very entertaining manner. We were very happy that we chose this tour, and recommend it to anyone. |

| We were a mixed group of 6 between the ages of 25-60, primarily from Chicago and St. Louis. My sister and I had taken the tour before with Steven as the guide and recommended it to this group. Everyone thought it was well worth the money and Steven was fantastic as a host to the city. He made the tour lively, exciting and we loved getting the "inside" scoop on some of the people and places.
Definitely recommend this to any age group. |

| This tour was quite entertaining and we learned a lot, as we had never been to New York before. Learned a lot about the history, and now the locations on Law and Order actually make sense. However, we took the tour on a day where there were only 4 people (2 young couples), so Stephen was the driver and the guide. I can't help but think that it would have been better if he had been able to leave the van, which he was not able to do very often. For example, we were sorta dumped at Grand Central Station and told to be back in 10 minutes. I think it probably would have been nice to have Stephen actually go inside with us to tell us a little more about the history and the restoration. Nothing wrong with the way it was done, but I can't help but think that it must be better when the group is a little bigger, thus justifying both a driver and a narrator, and allowing Stephen to focus on the talking.
While Stephen was a fine guide when talking about the buildings, the history, the locales, etc, he seemed to be a little bit of a loose cannon when he "went off script." At one point when the five of us were waiting to cross a street, Stephen told the only other people on the tour (with me and my husband standing next to them) how they are both beautiful and will have lovely children. We waited, but nothing was said to me and my husband, and we are roughly the same age. I was furious (not so much that he said it, as the other couple was quite fetching, but that he didn't have the courtesy to wait until my husband and I wandered off) and wanted to grab a cab and leave. Luckily, my husband talked me out of it. Ultimately, I was happy that we stayed, as we learned quite a bit, but the ire and embarrassment that I felt at that moment is unforgettable, especially coming from someone in a service industry.
Along those lines, I felt Stephen's commentary at the former site of the World Trade Center to be a bit pedantic, biased, and unneeded. It made me rather uncomforable, and I can only imagine what an international visitor might think of his comments.
In the end, I found the tour to be informative and well-designed, and would recommend it (with a grain of salt) to my family and friends. |

| We enjoyed the tour and felt that the items included were excellent. You covered a great deal in the day. We also very much enjoyed lunch at Katz.
We felt that there was too much political view given and we felt uncomfortable. As international visitors, you suggested that we would not necessarily see things the same as the Americans and that may be so, but it would be nice to not be singled out when we don't even know anybody else in the group. We realize that Ground Zero will bring discussion, but as the tour guide we feel that you should be impartial and not let your own opinions come forward |

| Our first time to New York. Decided on Time Square location for base as we had a little over 24 hrs. The tour started promptly at 9:00 a.m. with Steve. We covered so much territory between 9:00 and 3:30, it was unbelievable. Steve is full of knowledge, and very ambitious, not a slacker by any means. He is so passionate about New York and making the best experience for the customer. This was unbelievable. Beautiful day and great time!! I will use this service again, just hope we get Steve. |

| In all the years of travel, this is by far the best tour we have been on. By limiting the number of people and using a small bus, the tour is very personalized. Steve quickly got to know the name of every person on the bus. His knowledge of NYC is truly excellent and there no questions which could stump him. We took the all-day tour which I would highly recommend. It covers all parts of Manhattan and Harlem. Very, very interesting and entertaining. Overall, highly recommended. |

| We took this tour on the first day of our visit to New York and I recommend doing that to get a good feel for the area. The tour is well organised and the service is on a personal level, as there are not many passengers at each time (I think the maximum is 12, but I'm not sure) |

| This tour is a great way to get a handle on NY City and understand the layout, some of it's history and to be better prepared to enjoy this great city. |

| We chose to do this tour on the first day, so that as we were driving around and being told different things, we thought we could make a note or two, and find our own way back there later on.
Steve our tour guide, was excellent and really knew his stuff, and was very informative. He made it come alive.
We did go back to Greenwich Village and Little Italy to eat and found it very easy to get around, but wouldn't of known about it, if we had not gone on the tour with Steve.
Highly recommend the tour you learn a lot and see a lot!

| My wife and myself decided to take a tour of Manhattan for the benefit of our 15 year daughter on her birthday. It was her first visit to the city and we hoped she would come to appreciate the city as much as we had. It turned out to be a great tour for the entire family and got us to know New York in a much more meaningful way than even we had anticipated.
What a great tour guide Steve was, and frankly he was more than simply a guy with lots of wonderful facts and figures. He gave us a perspective of Manhattan from a local view, but certainly with great appeal to tourists like ourselves. What a great way to get to know Manhattan all over again.
Thanks kindly Steve - you were awesome!!! |
