Good general tour of Manhattan

| I felt that is was a good general (Orentation) tour of Manhattan. I would have liked to see Wall Street and the place where George Washington was inaugrated. I was told that wer were not going there because of security regulations. I was able to go there briefly the day before and there were no security problems. I feel that the tour guides should have better communication with the concerages at the hotels where they pick the people up from. The congerage at the New York Hilton said that they would come in and get me and in reality they were waiting for me outside the hotel. When the tour guide (Steve?) could not wait for me any longer he left a message for me at my hotel room. I was waiting for the bus outside the hotel and I was not able to get the message until the tour was over. When I was tired of waiting in the lobby. The Concerage called ZERV who contacted the tour guide. The tour guide said that they would wait 10 minutes for me at a certian spot. I had to take a taxi inorder to catch up with the tour group. This could have been advoided if the tour guide had better communication with the hotels. | ||||||

| Most in depth review of such a diverse place as NYC. I would thusiastically recommend this trip to anyone that is traveling to NYC. He prepared us for a very exciting place by giving us the lingo and orienting us so we knew where to go and how to get there. Very, very enjoyable; we could have come back for day two of the tour. | ||||||

| This was our first time in New York, and Steve was great from the get go. He is very friendly and informative. He is also entertaining....had many great laughs along the way. Geographically, I have a better understanding of the city, and I felt more comfortable finding my way around. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone...single, couple, family, etc. | ||||||

| The tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. The tour was comprehensive and gave us a complete overview of the history of Manahattan. The few stops we made were meaningful and relevant. The short walk in Central Park was lovely and gave us a feel for the beauty of the Park. Steve's information about the various industry neighborhoods was information that was new to me even though I have been to New York many times. I have already recommended the tour friends, even those in New York, and family members. | ||||||

| Steve Duer is enthusiastic, patient, knowledgeable, and tactfully opinionated. This would be my choice for a tour that hits all the highlights and more in one active but not hectic day. | ||||||

| The only regret is that we did not take the tour the first day we arrieved in New York. It was so much more than just pointing out buildings. Our guide was very informative. I couldn't recommend this enough. Great job!!! | ||||||

| My wife and I were very pleased with the tour. Our guide Art Zuckerman was exceptionally knowledgeable about New York. We saw all the sites with a narrative that came from a long study and living in New York. I talked to others that took other tours and they would not compare to this one. Art did a masterful job. I found out about the tour from the people at the Marriott Marquis. Thanks for a wonderful experience. | ||||||

| Steve was our tour guide. He did an outstanding job. We were a three generation family of four. I was the oldest (77), my two daughters (50) & (48), and my granddaughter Kelly (24). It was Kelly's first trip to NYC and it made a lasting impression on all of us. We loved every minute of the tour. Steve remembered all of our first names and made NYC come alive for us. His knowledge of NYC and the history of it was incredible. We took the mid-town and downtown tour and the next time we visit we plan to do the uptown tour. Truly New York is a wonderful town! | ||||||

| This tour was recommended by friends who had taken it last year.. We found it wonderful also. We had a small group of varied ages none of us knew each other before tour and we all enjoyed the tour and guide so very much. He really gave us a feel for the city and its feelings and attitutes. We were there doing the 9/11 six year anniversary and he gave us a feel of how New Yorkers are responding to this event that will remain for ever with us.. We were there on a wet and rainny day but that kinda added to the adventure. We highly recommend our quide and this tour to the first time vistor or to the vistor that knows New York and wants to feel the city and have the information of the history of its land marks. We are Park and Recreation professionals and he made the history of Central park and its beauty come alive. We highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| We typically explore on our own, however my husband and I brought my parents (73yo) to New York. They both have some physical limitations in walking. Joe did an excellent job of touching information that was appealing to a wide range of people. It was evident that he is passionate about New York and loves what he does. That excitement was a good opportunity to stage the rest of our visit. Thank you! | ||||||

| I took the all day tour from Marvelous Manhattan Tours & enjoyed it. The tour guide was well educated on the area & the history. My one negative comment was our tour guide was great but very opinionated. I would have enjoyed the tour a little more if I heard a little less about his own personal feelings on a wide range of topics including the media, politics & race relations. | ||||||

| Our guide Steve was terrific! He was as personable and well-informed as had been described by others! His narration was lively and always took into account his audience, many of us who were first-time New York City visitors. Not only did he give us tons of interesting information about the sights, but he truly wanted us to know about how New Yorkers regarded various facets of their surroundings. It was such a fun day, and I would recommend this tour as a first-day option when visiting. Because of his info, and the confidence he instilled, my husband and I used the subway extensively for the rest of our stay which really enhanced our trip. Thanks, Marvelous Manhattan, for a top-notch tour of the city! | ||||||

| I went with my girlfriends a year ago and did this same tour. I came out out to New York again this year and brought my husband and boys and wanted them to experience this tour too. It was so informative and Steve, the tour guide, makes it fun. | ||||||
