Steve was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about his city. He shared his knowledge with the tour and we all learnt things about New York we would never have known if not for the tour. He also shared some of his ides and thoughts which was great to here things from the perspective of someone who lives in the city and travels around it every day. I would recommend every first time visitor take tis tour.

Steve set the tone for our NY trip. He speaks very distinctly with good humor interspersed in his dialog. We learned many historical facts about Manhattan. He gave suggestions for other tourists sites to visit as well. I would highly recommend this tour.

We enjoyed our very entertaininng 6 hours with Steve. It gave us a great overview and we were able to determine what to go back and see in more detail. I would highly recommend it as a "first day" excursion.

Stephen was a great guide, extremely informative and funny. He gave our small group a rare insight into some lesser known aspects of NY life. I would heartily recommend the tour to friends.

I did not know what to expect. I was born and brought up in New York and moved to Texas 3 years ago after remarrying. Many of the women here had expressed an interest in seeing New York and altho I would have been content to take them to the tourist attractions........after we saw them - what then..... Steve, our guide, took us to places I had never seen nor known about. He also took us to places I was quite familiar with. Lunch at Katz' was a nostalgic part of the trip as I had eaten there many times as a child and an adult. He explained everything in great detail and left no question unanswered. As a New Yorker I can only say that this was more than I expected - especially Harlem. These women walked away with a totally different view of New York - no fear - people friendly and hardly any dirt. Thank you Steve for the time and trouble you went to to be explicit. It takes alot of studying to explain everything and I admire his hard work. I would do it again if others want to come here and need someone to help them over the "hump". Thank you.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get to know New York better. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interesting and it was definitely the highlight of our stay in New York.

We enjoyed the tour and felt that the items included were excellent. You covered a great deal in the day. We also very much enjoyed lunch at Katz. We felt that there was too much political view given and we felt uncomfortable. As international visitors, you suggested that we would not necessarily see things the same as the Americans and that may be so, but it would be nice to not be singled out when we don't even know anybody else in the group. We realize that Ground Zero will bring discussion, but as the tour guide we feel that you should be impartial and not let your own opinions come forward

Stephen, the tour guide, is full of information about NYC which he is bursting to share with you. While he takes you all over town he will explain to you how the city grew, the difference between districts and neighborhoods, who lives and/or works where and why. When the tour is over you will feel that you have a much better understanding of NYC.
