| We enjoyed the full day tour of Manhattan very much. We covered a variety of sights and the information provided by our guide was most impressive. The tour was fun and educational. We appreciated being able to board the bus close to our mid-town hotel, and being dropped off there at the end of the tour. We have taken smaller sized tours before and find them to be vastly superior to large and impersonal tours. We could ask our guide questions and have them answered. Having a qualified guide from the region makes a huge difference. Steve is a passionate New Yorker, he clearly loves the city and wanted to share his enthusiasm with us. We were made to feel welcome and received many words of guidance on how to best utilize our time while visiting New York. We all agreed that this tour was an excellent introduction to Manhattan. We also appreciated the skills of our driver, navigating the busy streets and making adjustments to the route due to road closures, and never once making us feel nervous - nicely done. We would highly recommend this tour, I intend to pass this recommendation on to our travel agent for the benefit of her other clients. | ||||||

| Steve was great at presenting an introduction to New York that prepares you for the rest of your stay. We intentionally took the tour on the first day so that we could paln teh rest of our stay and it sure did help alot. We were able to revisit some places in more detail and also go to others that Steve mentioned that were interesting. He kept everyone interested and had a great conversation, not just a monologue so that every one felt a part of the trip. I would highly recommend this tour and would even take it again the next time that I and in New York. | ||||||

| I am a New Yorker who booked Marvelous Manhattan Tours to show an old friend from Eugene, Oregon my city, for her first time visit. Steve was a superb guide who provided in depth information about New York City and with every question expanded easily and conversationally in detail, sometimes including his own perspective where appropriate. He was wholly present, (engaged each participant by name), helpful, personable and involved in the most entertaining manner. We had sort of wondered whether we could stand 6 1/2 hours on a bus but it was the most wonderful and informational experience. I will most certainly do this again should the occasion present itself. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough for those who want more than a superficial experience. | ||||||

| I was traveling with two teenage grandchildren and they loved the tour. I think this says volumes. Covered a great deal of territory, the tour guide was pleasant and very knowledgeable. A day well spent. | ||||||

| This is the third time I have taken this tour and I have recommended it to several others who have also taken it. The guide is very knowledgeable and helpful. There is the right amount of entertainment value but it doesn't take away from the learning experience. When the tour is finished you feel as though you have seen the city and understand it. I recommend starting your trip with the tour as it helps you understand distances and points of interest you wish to revisit for more time. | ||||||

| Steve provided us with so much information and we got to see quite a few sights. This tour is great because it is small and very personal, Steve even remebered all of our names. The highlight of the trip was definitely the stop at Katz's, if you go try the pastrami on rye. I highly recommend this tour, I will take it again next time I visit NYC with friends & family. | ||||||

| What I enjoyed the most about the tour was the insight that was imparted. Most tours are - here's a building, when it was built, and it's this big. This tour was for example, the Empire State building was built in 1931, 102 floors - what you'd expect to hear from a tour guide. The interesting facts, seldom heard, are that it took only a little over a year to construct for they used 3000 men and paid them less than typical because it was the depression and all needed work. | ||||||

| Travelling from Australia, my husband and I were a bit anxious about ending our U.S holiday at New York with the "stigma" that surrounds the city. However after pre-booking this tour on-line, we have a new appreciation for the Big Apple, as our tour guide Steve showed us an informative and well educated insight into not only the attractions, but the cultural and psychological reasons that make the big city tick. Being one of the rare, well organised bus tours in Manhatten, we both felt that the tour went well out of it's way to accomodate our party, no matter how many obstacles were thrown in it's way (and there were many, being that half the streets were closed because of the NY 1/2 marathon!) as well as giving us general overviews and glimpses of Manhatten that only even a handful of locals would know. All done with a dose of good-humour, (tho some of the jokes were a bit lame Steve!) We both reckon that this bus tour, was one of the highlights of our 6 week American odyssey and highly reccommend it to anybody who is thinking of doing it! | This was an awesome, educational experience! Stephen was hilarious, considerate and intelligent. He seemed to really enjoy showing us and the others around. It was nice to get the background facts on Manhattan from someone who was so comfortable in thier shoes. He made you feel at ease while educating and occasionally dazzling you. I have told all my friends what I had learned about New York and now intend to move there. | ||||||

| We were on the NYC all day tour with Steve and he was AWESOME! We learned so much. He is very knowledgeable about NYC. He has a great personality, was very friendly and accommodating. He also has a great sense of humor. We had a great time and would encourage everyone to take his tour! I did extensive research online about NYC tours and decided to go with Marvelous Manhattan Tours and I don't have any regrets. His is absolutely the best tour! Thanks Steve! | ||||||

| This was our second tour with Steve's business, the last being about 12 years ago. Both times I enjoyed hearing the more unusual aspects about NYC. It was so enjoyable for my entire family. The tour bus was extremely clean and comfortable. | ||||||
