The tour was terrific...especially walking through Burial Hill (cemetary) in the dark with lanterns. The tour guide (Barry) was fabulous, very knowledgable, and had a good sense of humour. As a result of this tour, we learned a lot about the pilgrim voyage, stories behind certain areas of Plymouth, and places that are haunted.
I highly recommend this tour over any other in Plymouth. There may be others out there offering similar tours - but this group was very well run, especially if you are staying at the John Carver Inn.

Tour guide was very nice but could have been more informative. $28.00 for 1 adult and 1 child was a little too much for what we got out of it. |

I've lived within ten minutes of Plymouth all of my life and learned more in two hours than I have in my lifetime about my neighboring town. Joyce was enthusiastic and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour! great value too. |

We were led by a very informative and enthusiastic tour guide through the town of
Plymouth, Massachusettes. Despite a chilling wind, we followed our guide who engaged us attentively in her eerie tales of mystery and suspense. The addition of
lanterns complemented the tour. At the start of the tour the guide said that lanterns were for sale, but we forgot to purchase one or more at the end. Please send us

I've done this tour in the past and always enjoy bringing friends along to experience it for the first time...Imagine walking with candle-lit tin lanterns through a very old burial ground with moonlight casting creepy shadows all around, or walking alongside houses and shops with haunted histories and peeking in their windows! It's always a different experience but without a doubt, a lot of fun and a great October tradition! |
