| My mom, sister, and I decided to do this tour the night before we'd see the dayhtime tourist stuff that Plymouth has to offer. It was a wonderful tour that took us through the downtown area of historic Plymouth. Since the tour is in the evening, we did not have to worry about other tourists than those in our group. It also helped us navigate Plymouth in the daytime since we had already been there once. I would definately recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of Plymouth, at least more than the plaques provide. We did not even notice the time slip by. |

| My sister and I recently visited Plymouth and found the Lantern tour to be a wonderful addition to our visits to the Mayflower II and the Plymouth Plantation. This lantern tour gave us a greater understanding of the history of Plymouth, the pilgrims landing and the native American people who already occupied this area. By hearing the stories and the history of the people and the area you can really begin to understand the dynamics between the two groups and the conflicts and difficulties that occured. WE highly recommend this wonderfu 90 minute evening walk. The guides are very knowledgeable and personable. |

| I would highly recommend this tour, I am from the area and learned even more about Plymouth's history and surrounding areas. The tour guide, William, provided a lot of interesting and insightful information, and kept the tour fun. |

| My mom and I went on the History tour. We live only an hour away and have continuely visited plymouth over the last 2 decades. But we learned quite a bit on the the tour.
It was fantastic and informative and entertaining as well. I highly recommend it, and I will be going on the Ghost Tour soon. |

| We had a wonderful guide who even in the rain gave us more than we expected. I am a history teacher and this guy knew his history as well as great local information that I didn't know. I would do it again, even in the rain! We even bought our lanterns to take back to the clasrrom. |

| The tour was pretty good, but not terrific. Our guide was a little late, and was not in Pilgrim costume, as advertised. She was quite knowledgeable about the Pilgrims and the area. She told us some good stories. I felt that there wasn't a whole lot to see that we couldn't have seen on our own, since the original settlement is pretty much gone, and it's now just a modern town area. I am a History teacher, so I found the tour somewhat interesting for the closer contact with the Pilgrims. I think if you knew very little about the Pilgrims and hadn't visited Plymouth before, or you are a hIstory buff, you might find it interesting. But if you have little interest in History, I wouldn't recommend it. |

| Our guide was very enthusiastic about the history of Plymouth. He was a wealth of information and made the tour a lot of fun. We had a group of high school students who were interested the entire tour, and we hated to see it come to an end. |

| We took a group of students from our highschool-a Christian academy here on Long Island. Promptly at 7:15 our tour guide showed up-handed us our lit lanterns and the tour began. From the moment we left the trolley stop we were delighted by an informative, personable tour guide who was also willing to answer any of our questions. We learned so much-but it wasn't your average history lesson. The tour was a fun- filled fact journey and was more and more interesting with each step we took. For those who might wonder about the distance you would walk-it was not the least bit arduous, as every site is a stone's throw from the last.. Wonderful too, was the fact that you offered a history tour and not just the typical ghost tours so many historical sights offer. It was well done-we are bringing our own family back later this summer. Well worth the trip, the cost (which was minimal) and the walking!
Sincerely,
E. Graf |
