This tour was a great balance of history and local lore. It wasn't too scary, which was great for us but did give us lots of local insight about historical figures in burial hill. A highly recommended tour!

We will bring grandchildren along the next time ... hopefullly in the fall around Halloween!

Had a great tour on the weekend before Halloween. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about Plymouth history. She knew stories well. This was not a "creepy" tour but a well done ghost/historical tour. Highly recommend!

I have attended many other Ghost Tours at other venues but no one has ever spooked me like Barbara at Colonial Lantern Tours of Plymouth. She has a very convincing style of presenting the stories so that one is completely caught up in the experience. Definitely not a tour for children or the faint of heart. You will be a believer by the end of this historical fearfest!

Our guide, Larry, was wonderful! He was enthusiastic, always willing to answer questions, and very knowledgable. We visited several different historical spots. Larry was full of information about each one of them. My only complaint is that I felt we spent too much time at each spot. I would have preferred to see more and hear less about each location. All in all, it was a good experience.

Our tour guide, Joyce, was an excellent guide and storyteller. She made the whole ghost tour come to life for all. She engaged the young girls in our group and was concerned for the safety of all. This is a very unique and worthwhile tourist activity. I would go again.

Larry was great! Out going, intellectually engaging, talkative, approachable when others had questions. There were too many kids that weren't paying attention simply due to their age which was a distraction. Other then the kids, Larry is very well educated on the subject matter and speaks the history of Plymouth with wonderful detail. It's obvious that he enjoys guiding the tours and he is eager to welcome questions. When I visit Plymouth again or when I know of others who plan on visiting the area I WILL strongly suggest the tour and I will go on another tour because I am captivated by history. Thank you Larry for a great tour.

It was a fun evening activity. Learned a little history of the area as well as being spooked a little.

We are a family of 5-2 kids (10 and 5) mom,dad, and grandma. I found our tour guide to be great!! He had a lot of fun historical info for us while on the tour. The Walk was leisurely and was about a mile or less, however I should add the steps up to the cemetery were a bit much for our 75yr old grandma and the grounds surrounding the cemetery were uneven and dark making it very difficult for her to get around-after that she was done. She had trouble the rest of the way do to that climb. I knew going into it that the tour wasn't much for children and that held true- my 5 yr old had fun for a bit carrying the lantern and all, but after about 1/2hr had enough. My 10 yr old found the tour for the most part interesting -he really enjoyed the ghost stories part of the tour. All in all a must do we did have a great time. Our group we were told was fairly large, I would say around 15-20 people the tour lastest 2hr and 15min.

I really loved seeing the Pilgrims graves and learning new deatails about King Phillip's War and other more recent events in Plymouth. It was a great way to end our day in Plymouth and a great history lesson for my kids. I loved seeing the city at night and our tour guide recommended a great restaraunt that was open late for us to go to after our tour. We loved our guide, the tour and the restaraunt and would recommend them to others!

My wife and I were very pleased with the historical lantern tour. Our guide, Larry, was extremely well researched and prepared. He was engaging and gave us a very informative experience.

Our guide, Larry, was a great storyteller, painting a vivid picture of a haunted Plymouth. The tour begins with a leisurely stroll through one of America's oldest cemeteries, then proceeds through historical streets of downtown Plymouth. Stories abound of the Pilgrims, puritans and Indian's who once traversed the very same ground. A great 90 minute walk, my wife and I found it very enjoyable.

This tour is a perfect way to spend a autumn evening!
