We thought the tour would be 90 minutes. We left after the two hour mark. The cemetary was interesting but we found the guide to be boring. She did go into character as a witch (I think) a few times but her voice just wasn't believable and her personality was strange. . We felt bad leaving the tour with her to carry the lanterns but we asked for it to be the end of the tour and she kept going on with boring stories. There were 7 in our group, 4 in their early 30s, 2 in mid 40s and 1 mid 60s. I would not recommend the tour.

The tour was terrific...especially walking through Burial Hill (cemetary) in the dark with lanterns. The tour guide (Barry) was fabulous, very knowledgable, and had a good sense of humour. As a result of this tour, we learned a lot about the pilgrim voyage, stories behind certain areas of Plymouth, and places that are haunted. I highly recommend this tour over any other in Plymouth. There may be others out there offering similar tours - but this group was very well run, especially if you are staying at the John Carver Inn. Sincerely, David Toronto, Canada

MY GROWN CHILDREN AND I THROUGHLY ENJOYED THE LANTERN TOUR. OUR GUIDE WAS EVERY ENTHUSIASTIC, WHICH MADE THE TOUR A LOT OF FUN FROM START TO FINISH. WE ARE FROM PLYMOUTH AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD WE ARE DESCENDANTS 0F JOHN ALDEN. WE LEARN SO MUCH ABOUT OUR TOWN. I CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE LANTERN TOUR. Our tour guide was wonderful. She happened to be the one who started the tours with a grant. She is an ex 4th grade teacher and was great with our kids. Our family enjoys hearing stories about historical places and the "people" who are still with us. The tour is an easy walk. The only challenge was getting up the steps at Burial Hill. But totally worth the effort! This tour is THE one to go on. Accept no imitations. This is the tour which gives you accurate historical information based upon real events that took place. If you only have one chance to take a tour, take this one.

Tour guide was very nice but could have been more informative. $28.00 for 1 adult and 1 child was a little too much for what we got out of it.

My husband, daughter and myself went on the Ghost tour while in Plymouth, MA on vacation. We enjoyed the tour greatly. It was the first time for that kind of trip for my husband and daughter and they were very suprised at how much fun they had. I had taken one in Ghettysburg and found this experience to be just as informative and enjoyable. The guide was a wealth of information and very pleasant. H e made the evening a huge success.

Our tour guide was great! He was funny and very knowledgeable! The only suggestion I'd make is if possible to do more walking and talking versus standing in one spot for over 5 minutes at a time....that is when the kids get restless. Otherwise it was great and we'd do it again for sure!

Great Tour! The tourguide is very knowlegable about area history. The historic tour was very informative and fun. If visiting Plymouth, I recommend taking some time to add this to your schedule.

My granddaughter loved the trip. She was duly scared and talked to her friends about it.

Our guide was very informative, the tales she told were very interesting. Our kids loved it and could not stop talking about it. A little scary for little kids but our kids ages 11 and 14 loved all the creepy stories! It was a great way to spend an hour at night walking thru the alleys and streets of Plymouth.

I would definitely take this tour again next time I'm in town.

We had a great time on the ghost tour on 10/30. Barry was so great and we learned so much about Plymouth's spookey history. We're probably going to do some ghost hunting of our own now that we know the route. Thanks for a wonderful time, despite the rest of our group :). "You go first, Barry..."

Our leader Barry was AMAZING! He was so enthusiastic and made the tour! I was with a group of friends and we are very into the "unknown" and the way he told the stories was great. He was highly educated on the local history. Our tour was ruined by a group of middle aged women who hit the bar prior to leaving. They were very rude and made it hard to keep the atmosphere about the spooky happenings in the area. If I had any advise it would be to get a large enough group so you are the only ones on the tour!

I went on the ghost tour recently and Barry was our tour guide- we loved him! He was very enthusiastic and his stories were great. We didn't see anything ghostly, all though all of our cameras mysteriously shut off while we were in the graveyard even though they were all fully charge before the tour!!! The history provided by Barry was worth it all. We had no idea what type of past the streets of Plymouth had (that we have walked a thousand times). Highly reccomended and you will be very lucky if you get Barry as a guide!

Good stories provided and guide had a good delivery of the tale.
