The tour was awesome, and the scenery was fabulous. The weather was chilly and kind of windy but it was worth it.

We (a group of three ladies) went on the Jetboat tour from Laughlin to Lake Havasu City in late October 2009. We thought it would be open air but just the week before our tour, the 'canopy' with windows was fitted onto the boat, so it was not too cold nor windy. The boat is fast, the trip is fun, and we enjoyed it immensely. The trip up is about 2 hours, then you are given 2 hours to enjoy the London Bridge and surrounds and eat some lunch, then the trip back is the final 2 hours. Our captain was Jenny. I tried to call her Captain Jenny, and she said it is "Just Jenny." So from then on, of course, she was dubbed "Captain Just Jenny." She was informative, giving us lots of good info on the areas we were passing, and she piloted the boat wonderfully, skillfully navigating twists in the river and negotiating skiboat wakes so that we passengers had the best possible ride. It's noisy on board from the boat engines, as well as the wind, and BE PREPARED for a wild shock when the Captain blares the horn -- it is LOUDER than LOUD, especially if you are sitting toward the front of the boat. The boat we were on had around ten rows of seats, two seats on each side of the boat with an aisle down the middle, and the front row holds only one passenger on each side. So the feeling is friendly, not like you are one out of a huge number of passengers, lost in the crowd. Be sure to dress in layers so you can cool down or warm up as the weather dictates. Bring a small snack and bottle of water for each leg of the trip if you tend to get hungry before two hours are up. There is no place to stow a cooler etc so just carry your stuff in a tote bag or large purse, or a small backpack. In Lake Havasu City there are a lot of restaurants where you can get lunch, from a cheap sandwich at Kelly's (under the Loondon Bridge, right where you debark from the jetboat) to Shagrue's Fine Dining (sit down restaurant with a pricey menu but delicious food). It's fun to walk across the London Bridge, and to examine up close the immense stones of which it is built, and to ponder the history it has seen. There's also souvenir shopping in the adjacent 'mall' area along with the restaurants. You'll be ready to sit down again after the two hour lunch break, and ride back to Laughlin. We had a delightful time, and hope you do too.

What a great way to spend the day in Laughlin!

This was a wonderful trip and so different from what you usually do while there. The sights were spectacular and the guide was very informative and friendly. The stop at Lake Havasu was just the right amount of time to eat and look around. We took lots of pictures as you can't really describe the beauty of the area as you can't see this from the road. We would highly encourage anyone to do this as the ride was extremely smooth and should not deter one from taking it. We were lucky too as we saw big horn sheep, coyotes, wild burro, etc. The guide always kept his eyes open and turned the boat so everyone had a chance to see them.

The wife & I wanted a day time something to do during our stay in Laughlin. Booked our jetboat tour on line without ever hearing or seeing anything about it until the week before. A VERY PLEASANT SUPRISE. The boat boarded & left on time. We sat on the east side heading down river. If there was anything special to see we were notified & afforded the opportunity to view it. We never felt like we were missing something for being on one side of the boat or not. The Captain kept us informed & turned the boat as needed so everyone got to see everything. And see we did. Wild Burros, Bighorn sheep, petroglyphs, a natural stone arch just to name some of the sights along the way. There was something to hold my intrest all the way to London Bridge & back. The temperature was 95 that day but wind & spray made it feel much more comfortable than one would expect. The stop over at London Bridge was just long enough to allow a leisurely lunch of fish & chips at Barley Brothers overlooking the bridge. We then strolled over the bridge & back. Window shopped for about 15 minutes then back on board for the up stream run home. We both throughly enjoyed our day on the water & have recommended it to everyone we talk to or email with. Would like to go again maybe in a different season, say spring. Our thanks again to Captain & crew for a fun & informative day on the jetboat.

Loved it all, including the guide book, which is very well written. We loved the entire experience, including the wind in our faces! Would have hated having to look out an enclosed window.

We were here with our grown daughter and boyfriend. We had taken this trip before and enjoyed it so much we wanted them to experience it also. It was a wonderful day. The scenery is gorgeous and lunch at the bridge is always nice. Good fish and Chips. The people that own and run this trip are always pleasant and thoughtful. It is a wonderful way to spend a day. Thanks to all for the memories.

We've been going to Laughlin now for alot of years, and I've always just past by booth for the Jetboat ride. BIG MISTAKE A girl friend of mine had told me that when we went up this year for our anniversary, that we should go on the tour, and we did. It was great. Very relaxing and saw beautiful scenery. The ride thru Topock Gorge was beautiful. You can only see it on a boat. I recommend anybody who has the day to spare to absolutley take it. Joe was great. Very nice people. Great experience.

NEVER AGAIN

I would not recommend this trip, it is over priced and over rated....60.00 for sitting for 2 hours, ice cold wind in your face, only to arrive at London Bridge to buy your Lunch which is also overpriced....2 more hours of cramped seating on the way back, you just have to sit in the one spot the whole time...the boats doing the river like paddle boats are much cheaper and you can move around and have washrooms.....a way better deal and fun time in my opinion....down with the Jet Boat Tour to Lake Haqvasu.

Cold and boring!
Thu, Oct 8  10:00 AM anitanita Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Temp that day was to be in the 90s, so we sat on the outside edge of the boat. The wind was so strong and cold we had to bundle up in blankets all the way there so as to keep warm and not get wind burned. Got to sit in another location on the boat on the way back so it was more comfortable, but two hours each way with little to see and no narration to talk about the sights or history of the area made it an incredibly boring trip. Also at Lake Havasu, there are 3-4 restaurants, but no shops except for one souvenir shop, so not much to do to kill 2 hours. I definitely wouldn't do it again, and would only recommend it to people I didn't like! Sorry!

We had a great day and are so glad we took the tour. It couldn't have been better.... the tour boat staff, the views along the way, lunch in Havasu. The weather was beautiful and it was a nice way to spend the day. The two hours in Havasu was just the right amount of time. We walked across the London Bridge and back, had a nice relaxing lunch and just enjoyed ourselves! And took lots of photos!

It was a good trip. Rather a long ride, but enjoyable. Was a little disappointed in the shopping area in Havasu. Lunch was great and we did have a good time.
