It Was a Great Trip

Really enjoyed the London Bridge Jet Boat trip. The boat was comfortable. The guide book (additional $1) was informative - I would have liked some more impromptu narration from the boat captain so we could watch the sights instead of trying to read the book. He did stop at the Petroglyph site on the way back, at a passenger's request - that was greatly appreciated by all. All in all, a very enjoyable trip

All five of us enjoyed it!

The whole activity from booking to getting in & out of the boat was well done & organized, especially for 2 of our group of 5 who use canes & aren't too spry. We were well taken care of, even to a phone inquiry of what we & they could expect when they found out one of our members has a spinal cord injury. The boat was comfortable & the 'driver' personable & fun. The little $1 booklet is a suggested buy (by me) to tell about what you're seeing because the boat would drown out anyone trying to tell you as we go along. Everything was efficient & enjoyable about the trip. I highly recommend it. Las Vegas Virginia

I've taken river excursions on the Rougue River, the Nile, the Salmon and the St. Lawrence. This trip ranks right up there with all of these-Jenny was superb, personable and informed, fun too. I've lived here for 4 years, fished the river many times but never had this kind of perspective of the beauty and antiquity the desert could offer. I would recommend this adventure to EVERYONE!

I was with 13 family members (age 40 and up). The trip was everything described and even more beautiful. What my husband and I noticed about 15 minutes into the ride was that we were more than ready for it to be over (us to the London Bridge already). Having been at Laughlin with all the bells and whistles and having our pace change from "GO GO GO!" to a boat ride was for us kind of boring. About 6 people on the way back fell asleep. The driver was fun and informative, on our way back he offered to spray us with water before getting on the boat, while on the ride back he squirted down everyone who welcomed the dowsing. That was nice and refreshing! In case you don't know; it is HOT at the river, the boat is not air conditioned, the motor is loud and the wind whips the crap out of your hair and skin. If you are lucky, the person seated near the window will put their hand in the water to get you wet with the spray! A camera is a MUST, it is a beautiful trip. We actually saw a small plane that was docked with boats along the shore. I have no idea how it landed there but was cool to see. Another cool thing is that EVERYONE WAVES at you! Like a serious wave you wave to your neighbor at home, you just can't help but wave back and then you become the wave initiator. You sit on a boat for 1.5hrs, is it worth it? Yes

If you go to Laughlin and have the time, don't miss this. The trip down the Colorado river is absolutely gorgeous. Don't forget your camera as there is some great scenery you will want to capture that can only be seen from the river. The 2 hour stopover in Havasu at the London Bridge isn't much, just a couple places to grab lunch and do a bit of walking around it could be shortened to1 hour.

My wife and I enjoyed the tour. We recommended the tour to our friends. The guide book for $1.00 is well worth the money. Tom Denham

This was a fun and very enjoyable journey down the river and back. The pilot of the boat pointed out many points of interest along the way and some fine places to dine when we arrived at Lake Havasu. I would recommend this trip to all. It was great time viewing sights and taking pictures of places we would never have been able to enjoy otherwise.

We (a group of three ladies) went on the Jetboat tour from Laughlin to Lake Havasu City in late October 2009. We thought it would be open air but just the week before our tour, the 'canopy' with windows was fitted onto the boat, so it was not too cold nor windy. The boat is fast, the trip is fun, and we enjoyed it immensely. The trip up is about 2 hours, then you are given 2 hours to enjoy the London Bridge and surrounds and eat some lunch, then the trip back is the final 2 hours. Our captain was Jenny. I tried to call her Captain Jenny, and she said it is "Just Jenny." So from then on, of course, she was dubbed "Captain Just Jenny." She was informative, giving us lots of good info on the areas we were passing, and she piloted the boat wonderfully, skillfully navigating twists in the river and negotiating skiboat wakes so that we passengers had the best possible ride. It's noisy on board from the boat engines, as well as the wind, and BE PREPARED for a wild shock when the Captain blares the horn -- it is LOUDER than LOUD, especially if you are sitting toward the front of the boat. The boat we were on had around ten rows of seats, two seats on each side of the boat with an aisle down the middle, and the front row holds only one passenger on each side. So the feeling is friendly, not like you are one out of a huge number of passengers, lost in the crowd. Be sure to dress in layers so you can cool down or warm up as the weather dictates. Bring a small snack and bottle of water for each leg of the trip if you tend to get hungry before two hours are up. There is no place to stow a cooler etc so just carry your stuff in a tote bag or large purse, or a small backpack. In Lake Havasu City there are a lot of restaurants where you can get lunch, from a cheap sandwich at Kelly's (under the Loondon Bridge, right where you debark from the jetboat) to Shagrue's Fine Dining (sit down restaurant with a pricey menu but delicious food). It's fun to walk across the London Bridge, and to examine up close the immense stones of which it is built, and to ponder the history it has seen. There's also souvenir shopping in the adjacent 'mall' area along with the restaurants. You'll be ready to sit down again after the two hour lunch break, and ride back to Laughlin. We had a delightful time, and hope you do too.

Super way to get out on the Colorado River and Lake Havasu. Our Boat driver was excellent and well informed of the area, she really made the trip fun, lunch in Havasu was delicious too.

I enjoyed the cruise very much. However I was disappointed that the shops were very limited. Ther scenery on the river was really beautiful and peaceful. As this was my first time to Lake Havasu, I was impressed with the amazing colors of the water. Our cruise guide was very informative and helpful. He was friendly and definitely made the trip worthwhile. We ate at Barleys and had their famous fish and chips, as recommended by the guide. Great choice. All in all it was a fun experience.

Scenic and relaxing. Seeing the Topoc Gorge is worth the trip alone...its like another planet there and is just beautiful. Lunch at the London Bridge was good, too. This boat tour is a great way to spend a day when you're staying in Laughlin.

It's the only way to "Fly"!

We took the trip from Las Vegas to Laughlin to get away for a few days but found there were no really exciting things to do in town. We like road trips better than flying to see the sights first hand and experience them. The boat did that perfectly. The boat was well made and comfortable. The captain/owner was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The most unexpected part was the boat was going fast enough down river to keep us cool and the mister system onboard kept us cool on the way back up.
