Historic Third Ward Food Tour

This tour was fun and filling and allowed us to explore the treasure of our own backyard. Being from the area it was nice to learn more about the history and sample the restaurants. I've been on culinary walking tours in other cities and this definately was more like a progressive dinner than a tasting or sampling. I would recommend this to residents of the area and tourists alike.

I've lived my entire life in Milwaukee and still felt like it was my first visit to the third ward. I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed each of the restaurant stops along the way. Our guide was friendly, enthusiastic and knew the area very well. I highly recommend!

I would have liked to spend some time, say 30 minutes, in the Milwaukee Public Market. I think that can be achieved by doing so right before we had the soup. Meet outside, guide describes the market, we go in, meet at soup counter in approximately 20 minutes.

Great time! Would recommend for anyone.

This tour was a nice amount of walking between destinations and showed the great variety of foods this area had to offer. Not as much general historical trivia but alot of information about the resturant community of Milwaukee (I'm sure this depends on the tour guide). Overall a nice way to spend a few hours with time to return to a favorite spot!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the culinary tour of the Third Ward. What made it particularly enjoyable was the history of the area that our guide provided. What was a pleasant surprise was the portion size at each of the five restaurants. I expected we would receive very small amounts at each restaurant. Instead, we were given meal-sized servings at each restaurant. We were told that we would not have to eat dinner at the end of the tour, which was true. We were full. I have already recommended the tour to others. And my wife and I would like to try the other restaurant tours offered by the company.

This food tour was a great time! Learned so much about the history of the area, our tour guide was FANTASTIC! Sandy did a really good job of keeping everyone interested and engaged, but still allowing us to have fun. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something to do in the Milwaukee area!!

We had a wonderful time experiencing restaurants in the 3rd Ward we had not tried before and learned a great deal of historical facts that were previously unknown to us even though we've lived in the MKE area for 50 yrs. Our guide, Ray, was friendly and very informative. So enjoyed a new venue of entertainment!
