Historic Third Ward Food Tour

I would recommend the Third Ward food tour to everyone I know - and feel like I already have. I've been constantly bragging about the delicious food, delightful tour guide, and overall great experience we had. The amount of walking is a perfect break between all the delicious food. You will NOT need to go out for food after - I was stuffed. Highly recommended - our tour guide Jeanne was great! I can't wait to go back to the different restaurants we visited for a full meal.

I was super excited to do one of these food tours and I'm so glad I decided to do the Historic 3rd ward. The food was wonderful, the history was really interesting, the walk was a good distance and Jean (our tour guide) was fabulous!! I will definitely sign up for another tour!

I enjoyed our tour very much. The food was very tasty, hot (except for the mousse!), and I was impressed that at each dining venue, they were ready for us and we were made comfortable immediately upon arrival. Our guide (Alan) was very friendly and quite knowledgable and accommodated our different personalities/ages skillfully. He's a keeper!

This is pretty much an all inclusive tour of the Third Ward which included a great variety of foods from soup to dessert as well as a very informative history of the area. The walk was an interesting route that included the market, part of the river walk and many historical buildings. We were impressed by the eclectic variety of delicious foods that were part of this tour, from chicken soup to Turkish specialties, most of which we would probably have not tried on our own, but all were extremely delicious!! We went back to the area the next day and did some shopping and of course more eating!

My husband and I decided to go to Milwaukee on a short get away minus the kids. I found the tour on Trip Advisor so decided to give it a shot. We took the Historic Third Ward tour. It was fun and informational. If we return to Milwaukee we would most likely take another tour from this company. It's a great way to try a lot of different places in one evening that you might not otherwise have tried.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the culinary tour of the Third Ward. What made it particularly enjoyable was the history of the area that our guide provided. What was a pleasant surprise was the portion size at each of the five restaurants. I expected we would receive very small amounts at each restaurant. Instead, we were given meal-sized servings at each restaurant. We were told that we would not have to eat dinner at the end of the tour, which was true. We were full. I have already recommended the tour to others. And my wife and I would like to try the other restaurant tours offered by the company.

I enjoyed the food tour. The restaurants were a good variety of different types of food. The information was very interesting and the questions were thought-provoking. The choices appealed to a vide variety of people with varying tastes. The tour guide was enjoyable and personable making it a fun evening.

We had a good time. The walk was nice, the food was good, and the tour was interesting.

We all had a wonderful time listening to the history of the area and the samples of the food provided by the restaurants. It might have been nice if the restaurant owner or manager gave a little spiel about their restaurants or food they served. Otherwise, everyone had a great time.
