Interesting and Fun!

Our Tour Guide was amazing to start! As we walked to each restaurant she gave a quick history of the area, and interesting facts about where we were. The food was amazing, and there was so much our group was stuffed by the end of the tour! Two of us have severe food allergies and the Tour Guide and restaurants took so much care to make sure we could enjoy everything without the worry of if what we were eating was safe. Even though we were on a schedule nothing was rushed and we were able to enjoy the fun and/or interesting aspects of each place that we stopped at besides enjoying the food! We will definitely do another tour in the summer!

We were given interesting facts of historical events that we were unaware of and 2 of 3 of us were raised in the area. Went to restaurants we hadn't heard of before. Nice tour. Fun!

We had a wonderful time on the food tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The stops we made were fun and the food fantastic. We will definitely be going back to those restaurants in the future. I highly recommend this and the other tours. This was purchased as a gift for my mom, she and her sister had a ton of fun and are considering getting other family members together to do one of the other tours. Walking was easy and everything was comfortable for the entire group.

Disappointing compared to other tours I went on

Our guide Kristen was very nice however it was very hard to hear her most of the time. I would not do a tour on a Saturday night downtown again. There is too much noise - traffic and people. The most disturbing experience was getting to our 2nd location for pizza and the table was not ready. Even after she called to verify we were coming and all was ready there was not enough chairs for 5 of us to sit, the dishes were not set, we had to ask numerous times for water and the 5 of us that did not have chairs were given coffee cup saucers to eat pizza on! Very tacky! The owner came over and gave a half hearted apology. I feel they could find a more interesting walk to the furthest restaurant instead of construction and bare buildings. This however was the best food. Dessert was standing in a bar because it was raining and we could not use outside patio. No arrangement for inside seating.

really fun, but missed a few details

Hi, Just wanted to drop you a line, as I truly believe from what we heard from Kristin, that peoples thoughts matter to you. It was very fun, Kristin was great, as was ALL of the food we had. My only negatives were that a) us and a few others read it wrong, thought a 5 oz beer came at each place. b) I wish that we had known that the market was not going to be available to sit at, and that we would need to go to the park to eat our soup. I think that was my favorite stop, and I really wanted to spend a bit of time there, rather than the park. The place we had pizza was way too busy to accomodate us. Nobody even asked if wanted something to drink, it was too loud by the kitchen when they were so busy, and we could not fit the whole group in at the table. Maby a smaller group, such as 12, would be easier to accomodate at some of the places ,and give us an opportunity to visit a little more with Kristen. Again, overall, I very much enjoyed it, as did the other people we were with. Loved the history part. Loved the food. Great variety choice. Just those few things that would have made it absolutely perfect. Thanks so much for bringing this to Milwaukee!
