Our group of 12 gals thoroughly enjoyed the Historic Third Ward Tour. Our guide, Michelle, provided us with fun and interesting information about the area, much of which we didn't know, even though we all live in Milwaukee. We enjoyed sampling delicious food from 5 unique restaurants, taking in the sights and sounds of the area as we hopped (walked!) to each one. A good night for all! |

Even though we have lived in the area and visited the Third Ward for the past 15 years, we learned a lot about the history of the Ward and tried out new restaurants. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and personable. We highly recommend the tour as a unique and fun way to spend an evening. |

My husband and I had a great time on the tour. Our tour guide, Hailey, was wonderful. She was fun to talk with and made us feel at ease during the tour. The food was great and we were stuffed by the end of the tour. It's a great way to find great local restaurants on a vacation that a tourist wouldn't know about. We also loved the Historic Third Ward District that we toured. It had a wonderful ambiance with quaint shops.
The tour was the highlight of our trip to Milwaukee. When we come back, we will definetly plan on going on a tour. |

The portions started out great, however dwindled as the tour progressed. I thought I was going to be "full" as the evening progressed, but left hungry.
The tour guides were stupendous. They were personable, knowledgeable and VERY interactive.
The history and information was wonderful. I had never visited this area and I have lived next to this vintage for 20 years. I gained a different perspective!
The "coupons" for discounts at the end were nice, but I don't know that they were practical for the consumer. I wish we would have wound up at a place where there would have been a "grand" tasting" and a bit more of comarauderie--something to finish off the night.
The time of day and year was great. Perfect for walking.!
I liked the fact that the guides were "ahead" of the game by letting the vendors know how far away the group was.
I would do another tour, but it would have to be more worth my while. |

The food tour was fun...lots of history, a good walk and a beautiful night. We did, however, come home hungry. I would not call the food we ate "substantial" as is advertised. We were a group of 10 with some men who definitely like their meat and were disappointed in the serving sizes. I guess we expected a sort of "progressive dinner" kind of thing, not just a small sampling of food at each stop. |

My daughter found the walking food tour online and asked if we could do it before she went back to school - it was a wonderful mother-daughter outing on a beautiful day in a great city.
When you vacation in other cities, usually you'll take a tour of that city - we have to remember to tour our own city - check out new areas and/or new offerings. Milwaukee is a great city and has much to offer - we need to do all we can to promote it, starting by touring it ourselves so we can spread the word.
Thanks for the experience. |

My husband and I were in Milwaukee for the first time and knew nothing of the area or any of the local eateries. We greatly enjoyed meeting the other people on the tour, seeing the historic Third Ward and sampling the local fare and the atmosphere of the local restaurants. The variation of the places visited and the diverse foods provided were just a joy. Our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge and stories about the area and she seemed to enjoy the people and her role. The amount of food provided was just right. Next time I return to Milwaukee I will try another area tour. Thanks for a memorable experience! |

My husband and I were first-time visitors to Milwaukee (from Royal Oak, Michigan) and we really enjoyed the Historic Third Ward Tour. It's a great way to get a thumbnail sketch of the city and its history. We enjoyed the food samples along the way. The tour guide was friendly, informed, and her stories were very interesting.
We would recommend this tour for visitors and native Milwaukee folks alike !! |
