We enjoyed the tour very much. Our guide Molly) was enthusiastic and very Knowledgeable. My wife & I don't have large appetites so the smaplings were adequate and tasty. I'm sure we will come down to the pizza place again.. The historical background of the area was very interesting even though we have lived here all our lives. The walk was longer than I thnought it would be but we all made it to the end.
Everyone in our group seemed satisfied. |

My boyfriend is moving to Milwaukee in a few months, so we took a trip up there to look for his new apartment and check out the city. I had no idea Milwaukee had such great food! This tour lets you taste a great variety of local food - from pizza to pretzel rolls to Milwaukee wine - and gives you a bit of a lesson on the city's history and neighborhoods. It's all very delicious, and a great way to find all those wonderful local restaurants that you might not otherwise hear about. If you like food, don't mind a long walk, and want to learn about Milwaukee, I highly recommend this tour! |

It was great to learn about parts of Milwaukee you would never really have the opportunity to learn about. I have been to Brady Street and Old World third street but to here the history and stop at a bunch of shops and restaurants to learn more and sample food and beverages was great. It is some walking but it is good to walk off some of the food and drink to prepare you for the next place. I highly recommend it. |

We REALLY enjoyed the idea of this tour. We had a young lady who was a local college student leading our tour, and she was fantastic! She was a wealth of information, and this was probably the best part of our tour! There were so many interesting facts we learned as we walked along the tour path, and her friendliness and knowledge were awesome! The part that we found disappointing was that we started the tour off in a pizza parlor ~ which was TOTALLY awesome. My husband and I were given a full pizza to share, and it was unique and delicious. However, we ate very modestly thinking we had so many other stops to make ~ we didn't want to be full at the first stop. Along the way we sampled cheese, a bakery treat, small taste of wine, and awesome pretzel and rueben rolls. But beyond the pizza and the German restaurant, were a little disappointed that some of the samples were pre-packaged items and we did nothing more than just stop in the storerooms for a quick minute or two. I would not say that you receive an overwhelming amount of food. The website led me to believe I should go hungry ~ I didn't walk away hungry but I wished we would have enjoyed the pizza more at the first stop. Even so, this tour was very interesting and was an enjoyable walk, but don't go there too hungry! |

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was looking for something different to do with two friends from out of town. We had a good time and enjoyed the commentary and even I learned a few new things about Milwaukee. Finding our way back to the start of the tour was a little problematic since the bus didn't run on the schedule we were told, but we managed to find our way back to the car eventually after doing a little shopping along Brady Street.
I will be recommending this tour to friends. |

We felt that the tour was a nice walk, the participating establihments showed some of the diversity of Milwaukee, and its always nice to eat and drink with family and new friends. However, we did feel that this was more of a tour for those people who are new to Milwaukee, whether they be tourists, new residents, or students from out of town. The guide was very knowledgeable about the establishments themselves but could have put more history into the overall tour. We did enjoy the food and drink tastings but felt they were a bit paltry for the price paid. Overall, a good experience and a great way to see some of the more historic parts of our fine city. |

We recently moved to Milwaukee and found this to be a great way to explore and learn about this wonderful community. Terry, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and made this an enjoyable experience.
If I could make a change, I would drop the cheese store. The displays and facility were not well maintained and most products could be purchased at a regular grocery store. |

We attended with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 year old grandson. Our son-in-law is from Italy so he really enjoyed all of the Italian history. He can't wait to go back and try out Maders. Our guide, Teri, was so informative and pleasant. We ended up walking all the way to the Third Ward when the tour was completed and then took the bus back to Brady Street where we had an early dinner. All in all we agreed that it was a perfect day! |
