| A group of friends came from Green Bay, Wisconsin...so I suppose sort of local.
We enjoyed our tour guide; she gave alot of information. I especially liked all of the history of the early settlers of Milwaukee and their neighborhoods...wouldn't it be fun to live a little more poorly but happy with not much but some food and clothing? They took care of each other and got along!
Milwaukee is a pretty city; we don't usually see or hear that. All that we hear is the crime scene and how terrible that part is. Looks like people are living downtown and living happily.
Thank you for the wonderful day. Oh...enjoyed the pizza as well as wine and bakery foods and the beer at the end of the tour! Thanks to all. |

| We enjoyed learning about the history behind the restaurants and old Milwaukee,. Hearing the history of Brady street and vising the local restaurants brought back a simpler time. The food was unique as it was a sampling of German, and Italian ethic dishes that are not always foods that you would order at a restaurant. Teresa was enthusiastic and did a excellent job in her choice of samplings. Thanks again for the enjoyable day. |

| Our guide was gracious, friendly, and informative. I would recommend taking Bupo Di Becco off the tour, since it is a chain, and most people have been there. Instead, how about Cempazuchi, Safe House, Karl Ratsch's? Or perhaps a lesser known neighborhood could be added, like the cool looking places we drove past on Downer Street? We enjoyed ourselves, and I recommend the tour to others. Even though we'd visited most of the places on the list already, as we visit Milwaukee often, it was still fun and informative. |

| I took my parents on this as a Mother's day gift while they were visiting from Detroit. It was the highlight of their trip and would recommend it to anyone in the same situation. |

| We had a good time strolling the streets of Milwaukee and hearing some of the history. The food samples were delightfully choosen and gave a good sample of the area. I expected a little more social and architechural history to be discussed, but what was presented was done well and was informative. I had lived in the Brady St area for quite a few years and though I still learned some from the tour, I am sure the area offers much more colorful history. I am looking forward to trying the Third Ward tour sometime in the future. |

| Great information. Loved the history lesson. Maybe it is just me, but would have liked more alcohol.
Would have liked a map, along with the listing of locations. So if I wanted to go back to the different restaurants or places, I could have found them easily.
A great way to spend an afternoon |

| If you love food and love learning about the "real" people who make up a community, then this tour is for you. The tour presents the ins and outs two distinct areas of Milwaukee - from what the buildings used to be to how citizens managed during Prohibition. The tidbits of information are scattered amongst stops at local restaurants. The food is waiting when you arrive and includes many of the local favorites brought to the city by immigrants - homemade pizza, Italian grocery specials, cheese, and beer to name a few. If you'll be in Milwaukee for several days, I recommend the tour at the beginning of your visit. You'll get a good feel for the area and see several places you might want to return. My husband and I both agree that guided tours are the best way to see a city. You don't have to worry about constantly referring to a city map/guide and you don't have to pay attention where you are going. An expert guide leads you and provides more information than you can imagine. Your only responsibility is to take it all in! My appreciation for Milwaukee, its food, and its people increased ten-fold after taking this tour! |

| The stops made on this tour were well-selected for their unique characteristics and the food was very good. We were disappointed in the tour guide though - during the walk he did not tell us much about the historical aspects of the neighborhoods like we expected. We also thought there would be more history/information given about the actual restaurants/shops we stopped at. Instead, we just stopped for food at each one and had conversation among the other tour participants. When we proactively asked questions, the guide often didn't know the answers to basic questions or provided erroneous information.
Overall, the tour was something fun and different to do on a beautiful afternoon but for the cost I would have expected more from the guide. |

| The food was fantastic and all three of us were definitely full at the end of the tour. The only thing I would have liked is more history about Milwaukee. I almost felt as though I knew more about our tour guide (who did a wonderful job) than I did about the city. |

| Alfredo, our tour guide, was friendly and knowledgable.
The selection of restaurants/delis was good. Thought there would be more food, but in the end of it all was not disappointed. |
