Milwaukee Pizza Bus Tour

Great selection of pizza from four different restaurants. Each one was unique and tasty. Plus, we got a history lesson of not only Milwaukee, but pizza as well! It was a lot of fun!! Thank you to Steve, our guide, and Theresa and Wade for making it a memorable evening.

I just went on the pizza tour with a nephew 30 years younger than me. This was a great way to spend the evening and explore corners of Milwaukee. Our tour group included people of all age groups and everyone enjoyed it equally. We paced ourselves throughout the night and were satisfied and full at the end. It was fun to try 4 different styles of pizza and figure out what you like the most. Almost challenging as they all were great. And the gelato at the end was a true treat! It is so convenient- once you get there you are chauffeured around. Steve, our guide, amused us and taught us a lot about Milwaukee that we really didn't know. My 24 year old nephew really enjoyed it. This is a great family activity across any age group- who doesn't like pizza? Great way to spend a Saturday night. I highly recommend taking the tour.

The tour guide gave a lot of information about Milwaukee. We had a good variety pizza parlors. It was worth the money. A good time was had by all.

Wow!! Where do I start?!? This is a MUST DO when visiting Milwaukee. These folks definitely live up to the midwestern reputation of kindness and hospitality. The tour was just detailed enough to satisfy the food nerd in me and it was fun and casual enough to not be boring or overbearing. Teresa and Wade own the operation and it's obvoius from the very beginning that they really care about what they are doing. Teresa was extremely responsive to my questions over e-mail prior to my tour. I flew all the way from Virginia to do this and a food class in town and my expectations were exceeded at every turn. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone; young, old, married, single, male, female, families, etc. We went to several pizza places all over Milwaukee and they all had unique characteristics, whether it be the atmosphere, history or pizza style. On the way to each place, Wade made sure to talk about the various areas we were passing through and always included some fun facts along the way. Upon reaching each of the pizzerias, Wade provided some background on the establishment and neighborhood and was always willing to answer questions. We even got to check out one of the coal-fired ovens and talk to a couple of owners/managers. I really can't remember the last time I got more than what I paid for, but this is definitely one of those times. At the end, Teresa met up with the tour and she brought her own wealth of knowledge with her. I really can't even think of one bad thing to say about this. I'm actually thinking of going back to Milwaukee later this year and taking one of the other tours!!! Many thanks to Wade and Teresa.

What a great evening. I did this alone and worried about there not being anyone else taking the tour but we had a very nice turn-out. The owners of Milwaukee Food Tours stopped by shortly to welcome us and introducted Steve, our Guide. Steve was outstanding,knowledgeable, funny and a great host. There were 4 Pizza stops, with the last stop offering 2 different types of pizza. All were good (is there bad pizza?) but I would rate our beginning spot as my favorite. We were even asked to take leftovers home, so if you leave this tour hungry, it was your own fault. Our last stop was for Galato, which really finished off the evening in a spectacular fashion. I know that I plan to do more of these tours in the very near future. I raved about this tour to everyone I could have at the 2 jobs I work at.

The tour guide made sure we were all accomadated. He interacted with everyone and all of us had a lot of fun.

Great activity...a little rushed at a few places.

We went with a group of friends to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a blast! It was great getting to taste the different kinds of pizza. The final stop topped off the night! I would recommend for a great date night or birthday celebration!
