As OnMilwaukee.com celebrates its annual Dining Month with chef profiles, restaurant reviews, features and the announcements of the winners their readers selected in "OnMilwaukee.com's Best: Dining 2009," they've also teamed with us at Milwaukee Food Tours to launch a series of dining activities that celebrate Brew City's culinary treasures. Join us in October for this special series!
Once quiet and tucked away, the entire Cathedral Square area, including Milwaukee Street, Jefferson Street, and Mason Street, is now a hidden gem bursting at the seams to be discovered with a wonderful modern new feel!
Join us as we stroll through Cathedral Square and hear the many colorful stories that contribute Milwaukee's past. We will then make stops at Milwaukee Street and Mason Street to taste some exceptional food during this new twist on the concept of a progressive dinner. The samplings will add up to a generous meal and will include visits to three restaurants recently featured by Carol Deptolla on the Top 30 Dining List.
Your tour will include many delicious tastings such as:
- Flavors from Cuban, Italian, Asian, and American restaurants
- A sweet ending of chocolate
All tastings are included in the price. Enough food is served that this serves as dinner.
What Is Not Included?
Wine and beer samplings are included but other beverages are not. Please bring extra cash with you if you'd like to purchase beverages during the tour! Gratuities for your tour guide, although not required, are always appreciated.
