This tour exceeded our expectations! Maria did a wonderful job of coordinating our orders for the next stop. If you do not like Bloody Mary's do not let that stop you from taking this tour. We are already talking about planning our next tour. Maybe pizza this time! Top notch job Milwaukee Food Tours! |

I found this place from a friend's post on Facebook and while I'm a pretty picky eater, the Pizza Bus sounded right up my alley. I was a little concerned about even my pickiness with pizza toppings but they were very accomodating to myself and another and it wasn't an issue at all. For our tour, there were 16 of us and we had leftovers you could take at almost every stop. We hit four places, each with a different version of pizza, including a very thin cracker crust, New York style and wood fired. All were good with some better than others depending on your tastes and preferences. The night finished with a stop for gelato, which for this first timer was delicious. Sandy was our tour guide and was very informative telling us about the pizzas we were eating along with some back story on the places. Throw in a little local history and I have to say I learned a few things. Sandy also shared some personal stories and made a point to talk to the individual groups on the tour as well
The tour itself is fast paced but not rushed. Your food is ready when you get there or shortly after and you spend about 20 minutes at each location. I consider myself a drinker and inquired about the $20 drink option and was glad I decided against it for a couple reasons. First, you don't really have time to have more than one drink at each stop and the prices charged when there were reasonable and I proably saved a few dollars just buying them as we went. Plus, you get plenty of food and I was glad I chose to fill up on pizza rather than beer.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour or their other ones for my more adventurous friends and family. I can almost guarentee someone on my Xmas list will be getting tickets for one of them. |

This was such a unique way to enjoy pizza in Milwaukee! Our tour guide, Sandy, was awesome, and even taught both of us local Milwaukeeans some facts about the city that we never knew before! We had a wonderful time, and definitely plan to try out their Bloody Mary tour next. ***TIP*** Do not stuff yourself with pizza at the first place you go to...no matter how good it is! You will be fed more pizza than you can possibly handle, so pace yourself!! |

I've done several tours with this company and it's the guide who makes the tour. This guide didn't have her script memorized much less other interesting facts. The food was great. |

My husband and I had a nice experience, and enjoyed all of the history about Milwaukee as well as the variety of pizza. We had plenty to eat, found some places that we'll definitely return to, and liked ending the night with some gelato. If you want something different to do, love pizza and talking to new people, give this tour a try. |

We came to Milwaukee for a weekend getaway from Chicago, it was definitelydefinitely a good way to switch things up from or normal date nights. Instead of having dinner at one restaurant, we got to stop at five different places. The Third Ward tour included a nice walking tour which gave history and points of interest. They took us to places that I did not find when searching the internet for things to do in Milwaukee and I'll definitely go back to a few if them on my next trip. Our tour guide of the Third Ward Food Tour on 4/20/2013 was very friendly and knowledge of the area. I have already recommended the tour to several people, even to two ladies who were sitting at a table next to us at one of the stops. |

My husband and I attended the tour with our two adult children. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we toured a nice variety of establishments. The only drawback was that all of the places we visited were very busy and loud and it was difficult to hear the tour guide on several occasions. Also, one of the restaurants did not have any space reserved for us when we arrived, and we had to wait almost 30 minutes and then ended up sitting on a couch and had to balance hot food on our laps - not fun. Our total delay at that restaurant was almost 45 minutes, which we were not scheduling into our evening, and had other things planned. We thought the price was a bit high, given the type of food that was served - there was nothing gourmet or incredibly unique, but it all was tasty. |

I think it's a good excursion for a variety of people. There's food, drinks, history, sightseeing. There was something for everyone in our group. Milwaukee is a great city and it's nice to experience it in a way that not everyone gets to. It feels almost like a backstage tour. |

As first time visitors to Milwaukee, my husband and I decided to try something new for us. We booked the tour online and hoped that we would meet some interesting people, learn about the city and enjoy great food. We were not disappointed at all. The tour guide and driver of our little bus were friendly, knowledgeable and very accomodating (thanks Steve). The 4 pizza places were great. The food was ready when we arrived and there was plenty. Each type of pizza was a little different, and delicious. The tables were set and we felt very welcomed. As we were driven from one place to another, we heard details about the city, the people who settled there, and the changes taking place. Right from the start we chatted with the other guests and maintained a high level of conversation throughout the evening. It was a fun way to see a lot without having to drive ourselves around. |

Even though it was cold outside, it was fun to see the river and learn the history of the Third Ward.
The walk is not overwhelming. Quite easy.
The restaurants were very diversified; not all the same, and the food was EXCELLENT. I'm still looking for a recipe to make the black bean balls! And, the chicken dumpling soup has a spice that we couldn't quite figure out, but give us time.....
We were under the impression that we would have a glass of beer with each course, but only had it with the sandwich. I think a drink, other than water, would have been a great enhancement to each course. For example, coffee with the cupcake?
I would recommend this tour to anyone and we plan on going to a few of the others this summer. |
