Enthusiastic guide, good food, enough walking to stretch one's legs. Interesting neighborhood with good stories. Guide pointed out architectural features and sites of interest. Would do another tour by same company.

Great taste of Brady Street

This tour is a great way to learn a little history and get the feel of an traditionally ethnic neighborhood. The guide (Damien) lives in the area and knew a lot about the character and history of the Brady street neighborhood. Arrive at this tour hungry…..you will not be disappointed after sampling the food the neighborhood has to offer!

Fun But Expensive for What You Get

We did the Bloody Mary tour on October 12. Our tour guide was Jean, and she was excellent with a fun and bubbly personality. The places we went were nice, and the bloody marys we tried were varied. The first place we went was the Smoke Shack, and we did end up going back there the following day for lunch because we enjoyed their bloody mary so much. The lunch was great - I highly recommend the food at the Smoke Shack. Anyway, the only disappointing thing about the bloody mary "brunch" is that you hardly get any food. We went from brunch straight to lunch. At Smoke Shack we got a small piece of cinnamon roll, at Swig's a quarter of a vegetable panini, at the Irish House we got a basket of fries to share among six people, and at Rustico we got a slice of pizza. Not really a meal, especially when it's consumed over the course of two and a half hours. We were hungry when we left. For $55 per person, I expected to leave full. It was fun, but too expensive.

As Always, Love the Food Tour, but a bit crowded
Sat, Oct 11  12:30 PM JMartini40 Female 40-49 Local Group of Friends
The food was great, our guide very knowledgeable. We were also fortunate to have a beautiful day for our walks in between locations. In the past when we've gone on the Milwaukee food tours, the groups were limited to 10-12 people, which was perfect. There were 20 on this last tour and we were more than a bit squished at our first two locations.

Very enjoyable

We both really enjoyed the tour. Even though we are both from just outside of Milwaukee, we both learned things about the history of the area that we didn't know. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and fun.

Have had better food tours

I was disappointed in the food on this tour. Expected more ethnic Italian on the East Side. The walk was great. The day was beautiful. The tour information was not as interesting as our downtown tour. It was an okay tour.

Tour Guide and Bus Driver get FIVE STARS!!
Sat, Oct 11  9:30 AM charlesw1 Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Tour Guide and Driver= Very good! 5 STARS!!! Churches= Grace Lutheran Church and super prepared Docent were exactly what we expected on this tour! Lots of history and architecture information. Docents at the last two churches were much less prepared. It was a good thing that our tour guide was able to "fill in the blanks" for them. We would not have put both of these churches on the same tour. St. James,, OR,, the soup kitchen but not both. Outreach programs are very important but we are from out of town so we were looking for more historical and architectural information. Might have been better to slip in St. Pauls Episcopal, St. Joan of Arc Chapel, St. Stanislaus Church or Basilica of Josaphat in the place of one of them. Chocolate Factories= Super interesting and super informative. We all enjoyed this part of the tour a lot! Owners were fun and informative. Would we take another tour with your company? YES. Our tour guide and driver were really wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure we all had a super day.

Amazing food and wonderful historical event

Starting with the Public Market and covering the Third Ward, with 5 stops to sample food/drink and info-packed history lesson, was no easy feat in 2.5 hours, but our guide was fun, interesting, and a wealth of knowledge-this tour will have you returning to the Third Ward for repeat visits to your stops and exploring new shops- wonderful!

We enjoyed all the different types of bloody Mary's offered and the non Bloody Mary options. The snacks at each stop were delicious. Great day out!

I thought the Bloodies were good and I thought Rebecca did a great job but I don't feel it should be described as a brunch tour. I thought the food was inadequate. I would have eaten before if I knew the portion were going to be so small.

Learn about your hometown
Sat, Oct 4  5:00 PM Dfeyen Male 30-39 Local Couple on a Date
Our tour guide mixed a great deal of history of the area along with some cool dining spot. There wasn't very much talk about the food we were eating, which I thought we might hear more about, but that was ok. We did stop in two places I'd never heard of and made me want to come back and dine there later. The small size of the tour (16) allowed us to mingle and meet other people. Our guide was energetic and adapted the tour to make it more comfortable despite some mixed weather. I'm looking forward to another tour in our area.

A nice sample of the Third Ward
Fri, Oct 3  6:00 PM Mbrusk Female 40-49 Local Family Without Children
We had no idea what to expect when we arrived. Had such a nice evening. Our guide was so knowledgeable on the history of Milwaukee and the Third Ward that I was truly entertained by her stories. All of the food we sampled was delicious. The restaurants were unique finds that we may not have tried without this tour. We are excited to go back to these places with family and friends. The amount of food was satisfying. The 2.5 hours was just right. Would highly recommend a food tour to others and can't wait to try the next one.
