| We attended with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 year old grandson. Our son-in-law is from Italy so he really enjoyed all of the Italian history. He can't wait to go back and try out Maders. Our guide, Teri, was so informative and pleasant. We ended up walking all the way to the Third Ward when the tour was completed and then took the bus back to Brady Street where we had an early dinner. All in all we agreed that it was a perfect day! | ||||||

| This was a really fun activity. I would recommend it to others. However, one of the stops was to a non-local chain restaurant, which did not fit well with the tour. It also would have been helpful to have more food options (given that it was a food tour), as well as more local trivia about the area. Overall, it was a good experience, and a nice way to learn more about the city. | ||||||

| I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, NO IMMIGRANTS TELLING THEIR STORIES WITH NO QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AS MENTIONED IN ONE REVIEW. THE HISTORY WOULD HAVE BEEN INTERESTING IF THERE WAS MORE OF IT. THE WINE "TASTING" CONSISTED OF A GLASS OF LAMBRUSCO AT BUCCA DI BEPPO (SP???) WHICH IS A CHAIN AND I HAVE EATEN AT MANY TIMES IN CALIFORNIA....SO MUCH FOR ETHNIC EATERIES/HISTORY. THE WEB SITE SHOWED A WINE SHOP WHICH WE NEVER ENTERED AND STANDING OUTSIDE A BUSINESS TO TASTE THE SAMPLES WASN'T MY CUP OF TEA. ALL IN ALL I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS WORTH THE $35. | ||||||

| The guide was very enthusiastic and personable. I went with my sister and we both grew up in the Milwaukee area but still learned quite a few interesting facts. I would highly reccommend this tour to anyone looking for something fun and interesting to do in the city! | ||||||

| We took the Brady St./Old World 3rd St. tour on a wonderful fall day, which made the tour even better! My group really enjoyed the entire experience. Perfect combination of history, food & drink, and a nice walk through a beautiful part of the city. Highly recommended to visitors and locals alike. | ||||||

| We had a great time . Even though we were familiar with the area, we did learn a few new facts and sampled some food from resturants we hadn't been to before but will go back to. I wish I had known before that you made your own way back to the starting point. It is an important fact that was omitted. | ||||||

| It was quite well organized and thought out. The additions of some local history was quite interesting. Walking shows you things that you did not notice. I've been down Brady St, via car and you miss things. I saw things that I never saw before....different stores, restaurants, architecture. I have been to many of the restaurants before. But I liked how this was done. Thought out and well timed. It was amazing how things were ready when we got there! And the bathrooms were timely!!!! I can't believe all the food that we got at Maders!! Wow. I had to leave early so I missed the chocolate stop. Next time, I will not drive with someone else who has to leave by a certain time. We ate our Maders food in the cab back to our car! (shared with the cabbie!) Our tour guide was great. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I look forward to doing the 3rd ward tour. | ||||||

| We were a small group of 8 friends. The sampling at each place was an additional pleasure. Everybody was so welcoming. The tour was very well organised and our guide was interesting and fun. I enjoyed this walking tour a lot and I recommend it to anyone who wants to discover Brady Street, the history of the Italian and German immigrants to Milwaukee as well as good places to go eat. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and don't buy too much stuff at the italian grocery store because it is right at the beginning of the walk. Better to go back afterwards. We came back to the point of departure on the city bus which cost $2. That worked out very well. | ||||||

| Even though I grew up in Milwaukee. the guide made our time interesting with her knowledge of the area. Little facts she knew and insite into the area made our tour more intersting than I thought it would be. I would like to see more food being served. | ||||||

| We stopped at a nice variety of places and sampled things I wouldn't have thought of trying. It's a great way to try restaurants and shops that you wouldn't think of on your own. I want to go back to every place we went to! Living in Milwaukee, I never stop to think about the history of the streets I walk on every day, but this tour gave me a new perspective on that. I'd recommend it to just about anyone. | ||||||

| WE have lived in the area for 6 months and decided we needed to get to know the city and what it has to offer. This was a perfect way to walk through and taste the flavors of the neighborhoods. We will definitely go back to some of the restaurants, and stopped for pastries and cholcolate before leaving the tour. We are scheduled for the Third Ward Tour next week, and are really looking forward to it. Thanks to Terri, our guide. We had a great time. Jane and Chris | ||||||
