I gave 2 tickets to my son for his birthday - He loves to try all sorts of dining experiences and this was so fun for him. He really seems to have enjoyed it. He found places he would certainly go back to, and has told people about some of the places he liked. the added History lesson was greatly enjoyted also.

We had a great time and our tour guides were great. The food was all good, but I was surprised that it was only really 3 restaurants - I guess I was expecting a restaurant tour and some of the nicer restaurants beyond cheese pizza, mexican & irish and not cannoli and olives on the sidewalk, and beer in the back lot - we did have a good time and did enjoy ourselves - it was just that what I imagined what it would be and what it was were different. The historical information of the area was good. thanks

Haley was so friendly and a great tour guide. She made the whole experience a great one! The restaurants we stopped at were busy but always made time for us and the staff at the restaurants were super friendly. Going on this tour opened my eyes to not only new restaurants I need to go back to, but restaurants I need to tell my friends about as well! KUDOS!

This tour way exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous tour guide (Josh) that provided humor and great historical information about the Brady Street area. There was a good variety of restaurants with great food. We appreciated our special dietary restrictions being accommdated. We loved the Brady Street area and will come up from Chicago again to dine at some of the restaurants we toured. Zaffiro's had some of the best pizza we've ever had and we will be back! The only recommendation/suggestion I would have to offer is to provide a sample menu of what to expect either online or at the first tasting location. We will definitely come back and try out some of the other tours offered by MKEFoodTours. Thank you for a great afternoon!

My daughter found the walking food tour online and asked if we could do it before she went back to school - it was a wonderful mother-daughter outing on a beautiful day in a great city. When you vacation in other cities, usually you'll take a tour of that city - we have to remember to tour our own city - check out new areas and/or new offerings. Milwaukee is a great city and has much to offer - we need to do all we can to promote it, starting by touring it ourselves so we can spread the word. Thanks for the experience.

We had a great time on the Bloody Mary tour. Our tour guide, Mark, was great, very knowledgeable and very funny. The portions of Bloodies and food was very generous for the price. Will definately do again!

As a first time visitor to Milwaukee, my husband and I selected this tour since we love local history and food. This Historic Third Ward Food Tour definitely exceeded our expectations. Paula, our guide, was fantastic. Her knowledge of history and local lore was equal to her passion for the ever-growing food scene in Milwaukee. We especially enjoyed her personal stories and warmth as we walked the streets of the Third Ward. We had a great time eating, chatting and walking with the other members of our tour who were all locals and learned just as much about their own backyard as us. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits the Milwaukee area. We look forward to returning to Milwaukee and taking another MKE Food Tour!

I enjoyed the tour very much. I would have preferred less spicy soup (we had African peanut soup) at the City Market. I thought the timing was great so the stops weren't too long or too short either. The food was very good and it was fun to try new restaurants. Our tour guide, Paula, did a wonderful job and I appreciated the fact that she tried to keep us in the shade when she pointed something out in the Third Ward since I am not supposed to be in the sun and it was very hot and sunny last Friday the 13th. Also, her pace was very good since I cannot walk really fast but was able to keep up with the group.

I think the tour was very nice but over priced. The parking cost plus the tour was over $50.00 per person. I could have had the fanciest lunch at Lake Park Bistro for about $30.00. I don't think the walking tour was worth the extra money. I would have liked to learn more about the Third World. All of the places we went to were good and the food served was very good but still not worth the investment of $47.00. Only one place had someone come to talk to us about their food specialty. I still enjoyed the day but would not recommend based on price.

Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining and the food was varied and well chosen. Perhaps our group was a little too large and slow (14) because our guide frequently started talking at the stops before we all were all assembled. Thus people were talking while he was talking, trying to find out what they had missed! I can appreciate that he had a schedule to keep but perhaps a bit of flexibility could be built in for situations when it is apparent that four to six people aren't keeping up. We were encouraged to only "sniff" the aroma at the bakery so we didn't go in and now I wish I had.(my choice) When we got to Gloriosos, there wasn't enough time to look around, much less purchase anything. We really enjoyed the two restaurants and the delicious food where we went in and sat down. Unless we missed it, the only mention of the Spice House, that we had hoped to at least "sniff," was when we were handed the little sample of seasoning at the brewery. This tour was a gift to us and I'm glad we had the experience. It's a great idea for entertaining out of town guests. Our fellow tourists were friendly and we enjoyed sharing out common interests. I will recommend another of your tours to friends with only a bit of caution. Thank you and good luck with your endeavors.

The tour guide presented historical background information and present day developments in equally vivid and interesting ways. His knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious. The food choices were also very appropriate, Cempazuchi being the most interesting of the food stops but the others were also quite good.

My husband and I were in Milwaukee for the first time and knew nothing of the area or any of the local eateries. We greatly enjoyed meeting the other people on the tour, seeing the historic Third Ward and sampling the local fare and the atmosphere of the local restaurants. The variation of the places visited and the diverse foods provided were just a joy. Our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge and stories about the area and she seemed to enjoy the people and her role. The amount of food provided was just right. Next time I return to Milwaukee I will try another area tour. Thanks for a memorable experience!
