Milwaukee Food Tours

We would highly recommend this fun and family friendly event. We struggle to find activities that are out of the ordinary that will be appropriate for the ages of our children, 13 and 18. This was an interesting, fun and tasty night that was enjoyed by the entire family. We learned so much about the Milwaukee area from Steve, our tour guide. It was more than just sit down, stuff yourself with pizza and repeat! We are already looking at other tours available and will definitely make this a family night every few months.

The tour went fast and was very enjoyable. We visited pizza places I have never been to and that was the most enjoyable part. Milwaukee has a lot to offer and the tour gave us a taste of Milwaukee and what there is to explore. Food was excellent and there was a good variety. Highly recommend this tour.

What a great evening. I did this alone and worried about there not being anyone else taking the tour but we had a very nice turn-out. The owners of Milwaukee Food Tours stopped by shortly to welcome us and introducted Steve, our Guide. Steve was outstanding,knowledgeable, funny and a great host. There were 4 Pizza stops, with the last stop offering 2 different types of pizza. All were good (is there bad pizza?) but I would rate our beginning spot as my favorite. We were even asked to take leftovers home, so if you leave this tour hungry, it was your own fault. Our last stop was for Galato, which really finished off the evening in a spectacular fashion. I know that I plan to do more of these tours in the very near future. I raved about this tour to everyone I could have at the 2 jobs I work at.

We had a really awesome night on our pizza tour. So much pizza, great gelato & mini-history lessons along the way! Would highly recommend to everyone!

The history given by our tour guide was very interesting. The tour was fun and interactive. Overall we had a great time with our friends. However, I would say that there needs to be more pizza given automatically for the men. There should have been more pizzas to share. The Gelato was yummy.

Took us to four different pizzerias and ended with a local gelato shop. At the first stop, I was slightly nervous that we wouldn't be served enough food to actually be full by the end - but we were. The fascinating part though was how intersting and engaging the tour guide was while he narrated the bus trip through the neighborhoods of Milwaukee, sharing a mixed assortment of random, fun facts and historical importance. He was also very honest about some of the Milwaukee neighborhoods and that maybe they were a bit tougher of areas, but then shared some of the wonderful "gems" that are hidden within their boundaries that made me actually want to go visit. I am also a very motion-sick individual, but with a couple of dramamine pills paired with the fact that you're never really on the bus for longer than 15 minutes at a crack....I could get through it easily. And if I can - anyone can!

This tour was awesome and it was the second time my family and I went on it. All the same spots but different things to eat. Even though I live in Milwaukee, I have not heard of many of the places we stopped at, this time we we made a point of keeping tract of where we went and I have been back to 2 of the bakeries, everything was delicious and it was a great way to kick of the Christmas festivities! I would recommend this tour for anyone! The tour guides are so into it, it's a great time!

This was our first time doing the bakery tour and what an experience it was! We had an awesome time and the tour was so fun and great. I couldn't believe how many bakerys we stopped at and by the end we had so many sweets and goodies to take home we didn't know if we would be able to eat them all. Every stop had awesome treats for our tour group. The tour guide herself was great too. She was fun and very knowledgable and really made the whole group feel welcomed and she interacted with everyone so no one felt left out. I have already told a bunch of friends about the tour and we are already planning to do it again next year. Keep up the good work!

Went with a friend and had a lot of fun. Enjoyed seeing parts of the city I don't frequent as well as learning about new spots to shop. The treats were great and packaged beautifully. Good variety. My one disappointment was that there was no decaf coffee offered at Stone Creek and I had really looked forward to trying their coffee

I took my son who is 14 and loves to cook on this tour. We had a great time. He loved the samples of course, and learning about the many different products and traditions of the various bakeries. We hope to try some of the other tours offered as well!

We found this to be tremendously fun and of course delicious. I'm a native to the area, and thought I knew a lot, but Theresa gave us facts I was unaware of as we moved from shop to shop. The bakeries are treasures and provided us with a taste of our city. We plan on returning to these places. Of course we also plan on returning to take the B tour next year.

We had a wonderful time. I saw a large area of Milwaukee that I had never been to before. All the bakeries presented their items in a way that made you want to buy some of everything. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes good sweets

Had so much fun with my 2 adult daughters that we plan to do it every year! A great way to find bakeries that we did not know existed! Yum!

The Milwaukee Pizza Tour exceeded my expectations in ever aspect. The tour guide (Steve) has an infectious enthusiasm for the city of Milwaukee. His knowledge for all the various aspects of the city is truly remarkable and kept me very entertained between stops. The restaurants all offered their own unique style of pizza, which did not disappoint. From start to finish this was a top-notch event!

Guides were easy to talk to and provided a lot of information. Will take another tour soon!!!
