Milwaukee Food Tours

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour!

Even though we have lived in the area and visited the Third Ward for the past 15 years, we learned a lot about the history of the Ward and tried out new restaurants. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and personable. We highly recommend the tour as a unique and fun way to spend an evening.

We immensely enjoyed our tour of Brady St. We were delighted to learn so many historical facts regarding Brady St. while visiting a variety of splendid eateries along the way. Our tour guide, Damien, was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour ran over. Since we'd already explored the final destination on an earlier visit to Milwaukee, we simply excused ourselves before the final tour stop to make our next appointment that day. Would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about the Brady St. neighborhood and its wonderful food offerings.

The tour guide was very knowlegeable, the food was outstanding, and the entire event was very interesting and entertaining. The tour was also very accomodating, and my food was expertly adjusted to accomodate my gluten intolerance. I enthusiastically recommend this tour with no reservations. I'm sorry I did not take this tour on my first day in Milwaukee, as the information I gained would have enhanced my entire stay!

The Third Ward tour was interesting and had great food. It was fun to try a little bit at a variety of restaruants. the 2 1/2 hours went by fast.

The idea is good. There was not much in the way of touring Milwaukee. More driving around than anything. Not recommended for lifelong Milwaukee area residents. When purchasing, was asking about allergies and whether pepperoni or sausage was preferred. Received pizza with many other toppings, many of which were not appetizing. Either further description detailing this before purchase or more direct selections would be appropriate. More pizza, closer together perhaps, if possible. Full at the end, but somehow not satisfied.

This Food Tour is the best! We sampled pizza from 4 interesting restaurants. Each place was different, and each place was prepared for our group, and made you want to return. We ended the evening with a stop for gelato- what a terrific idea. Highest recemmendations for food lovers.

The tour was fun & informative. We learned some interesting facts about the 3rd ward while walking from restaurant to restaurant. Also discovered a new place we weren't aware of before. Our only disappointment was although there was ample food some wasn't that good. If the restaurants are involved in this w/ the intention of attracting customers it would seem they would put more of an effort into the samples. Despite that we would definitely do this again.

We enjoyed the walk and the tour guides telling of the historic facts surrounding the historic third ward. We did not feel the food offered was the best, especially the soup. It would be nice if a few choices at each restaurant could be offered. Perhaps this could be done when people signed up to take the tours to make prep easy for the restaurants. The size of the servings were fine except for the chocolate a second piece would of been nice. The guide did a wonderful job.

We had a good time on this tour--had some great food and learned quite a bit about Milwaukee history---I recommend this tour to anyone who likes food and local history. One complaint--we did not get any pizza at Zafiros because the owner said that the tour guide never called ahead. Out tour guide said that they were too busy to serve us that day. There appears to be two stories here and the tour suffered. We did have some very good Greek food but we would have preferred pizza. I am not sure who is at fault but our group did notice the problem.

This was our first experience on any kind of a walking tour. We enjoyed it very much! The food was awesome, and you will definately feel very full by the end of the tour. We would highly recommend this if you enjoy walking, learning and eating!

This was our first time on a food tour and we had a blast! The tour guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable about everything. He was also very personable and interacted with everyone in the group. The tour was way more then we expected and we are already planning our next one. Anyone who loves food and loves to eat should definitely go on a food tour. We loved it!!!

I really enjoyed the tour and our guide. I will certainly recommend this tour and may take another myself!

The tour was very well organized and lots of fun. I live in the area so didn't think the guide would have any bits of local history I hadn't heard before, but he did and I learned a number of things I didn't know before. The food served at the various restaurants was also very good and the portions generous.

Food was worth the walk and the history was great. Thank you!
