Milwaukee Food Tours

The tour guide was good not great. the tour was very enjoyable -although I have been on better I think going to the Lake front Brewery is very much off the beaten trail and I do not really consider it Bradey street.

Our work team went on the Brady Street Food Tour on a beautiful 75 degree day in early September. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and informative. We stopped at six different venues and sampled a variety of food that substantiated a full meal in the end. There was a good amount of walking in-between that helped give our stomachs and palates a break. I definitely recommend this tour to others looking for a fun work outing. It's a good activity for people that like to be active!

This was an absolutely amazing experience! I had never been to Milwaukee before and wasn't expecting much. I booked this tour as a way to see the city and i couldn't have picked anything better. The city is beautiful and this tour is the perfect way to see it. The bloody marys were by far the best ones I have ever had (I work in the liquor industry and it takes a lot to impress me). The food was great and they are right by saying you shouldn't plan on eating before or after because you will be stuffed by the end. I would highly recommend this to everyone thinking about visiting Milwaukee.

Our family (kids age 5 and 6) all really enjoyed the tour. It kept all of our interests through walking, listening and sampling. Ray the tour guide was great, his energy pulled the whole experience together.

We were invited by other friends and so made the trip to "old" Milwaukee (in our minds) only to be bedazzled by the new Art Museum, and the hip-hopping Third Ward with the historic charms still present and celebrated. While new life buzzes in an upbeat, lively market, nearby is a busy river with kayakers, boaters, and lollo boarders floating by, and charming restaurants and bars w/people a plenty . It was fun to join the tasty excursion, sample the food, and be charmed by our host Ray who went out of his way to see that our individual needs were met while tending to the whole group to insure all had a great time. Thank you!.

It was an interesting walking tour with a little snacking on the way. I would not call it a "Foodie" tour.

Tour guide was very informative. Was with 5 friends and we all enjoyed the tour. Of course, we did have awesome weather on the day that we went. Could have included a glass of wine somewhere along the route. Sample cups given out by tour guide by Lakefront Brewery didn't seem like 5 oz. size. Would choose another tour in the future.

Brian, the guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was terrific. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area. Because it was originally an italian and polish neighborhood we expected italian and polish food on the tour. There was italian food, but also mexican and irish food, but no polish food. The other tour members were enjoyable to be with and helped make this a fun experience. We loved the pizza, canoli, and tiny taco. The italian grocery selection needed a glass of wine and was not that great. The shepard's pie was terrific, but didi't fit with the theme of the tour. Ending at a brewery gave us the choice of leaving or staying and drinking. That was nice. We parked by the final stop and walked to the start, that should be included as an option in the tour information. We were happy to have our car there and able to get on our way at the end of the tour. We have already recommended the tour to others and look forward to taking another Milwaukee Food Tour on our next trip to Milwaukee. Thanks for the opportunity to have a great time and learn about Milwaukee's history at the same time. There was plenty of food and we appreciated having a cold glass of water waiting for us at each stop.

Enjoyed the Brady Street tour very much. Great tour guide, total group of eight, including five close long time friends, interesting to hear how the area has been brought back from it's earlier days. Enjoyed the variety of restaurants, bakery, grocery, and brewery. Had a beautiful day to leisurely walk back. Would highly recommend the tour. I know there are places I will return to.

We very much enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very imformative on all aspects of our tour. The food was great and the scernery was wondeful. I would reccomend this tour to anyone that likes history, culture and great food.

Ray our tour guide was informative and fun. The restaurants we visited, expected us and treated us courtously. We learned a number of fun facts from Ray, regarding the varouls places we visited. We are life long Milwaukee residents, and we still learned things we were unware of (like why cream city brick starts our beautiful and ends up black and dirty looking.) We have recommended these tours to our friends,thanked our kids for the gift of the tour and told our church they should try and raffle one off at our church fun raiser.

The tour was fun and the food was delicious! Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. I would highly recommend this tour to others!

This tour was GREAT. My husband and myself were touring Milwaukee (from Michigan). The Bloody Mary's were something special. The group was small, the walk informative and interesting (even before the first Bloody Mary). It was fun meeting others in this small, low key tour. I have never seen such elaborate Bloody Mary's. The tour was well worth the cost. I will go again the next time I am in Milwaukee. I have recommended this tour to others already.

I thought the tour was fantastic! Food was wonderful---info about the area was great! Jim, the tour guide was attentive, kind and passionate! Lots of fun!
