Would do it again

The portions started out great, however dwindled as the tour progressed. I thought I was going to be "full" as the evening progressed, but left hungry. The tour guides were stupendous. They were personable, knowledgeable and VERY interactive. The history and information was wonderful. I had never visited this area and I have lived next to this vintage for 20 years. I gained a different perspective! The "coupons" for discounts at the end were nice, but I don't know that they were practical for the consumer. I wish we would have wound up at a place where there would have been a "grand" tasting" and a bit more of comarauderie--something to finish off the night. The time of day and year was great. Perfect for walking.! I liked the fact that the guides were "ahead" of the game by letting the vendors know how far away the group was. I would do another tour, but it would have to be more worth my while.

Fun but not "substantial"

The food tour was fun...lots of history, a good walk and a beautiful night. We did, however, come home hungry. I would not call the food we ate "substantial" as is advertised. We were a group of 10 with some men who definitely like their meat and were disappointed in the serving sizes. I guess we expected a sort of "progressive dinner" kind of thing, not just a small sampling of food at each stop.

Great tour

The walking food tour of the Brady St is a great tour. I would like to suggest that they don't combine food with wine and brewery for the sake of non-alcoholics and children. Otherwise, it is very enjoyable and a great experience.

I would like to thank you for organizing such a fun event. The food and Bloody Marys were delicious, our guide was enthusiastic and informative and the company was great. Who could ask for a better way to spend a Sunday morning?

We enjoyed this walking tour of Milwaukee, and we got to sample a variety of foods. The group was small, 2 couples, and the tour guide (Steve) was very knowledgeable and willing to go at our pace. I'd recommend this to the young and old, it's a great couples tour. Thanks to Theresa for accommodating our needs. A+!

Getting to Know Milwaukee

My friend and I attended the tour. All of the food was very good. I liked having choices at a couple of the places as I am not an adventurous eater. Our guide was new, but her mentor attended and added pertinent information. I'm sure she'll do great as she familiarizes herself more with the tour route and places. The walk was just right considering we had to go back close to the beginning to pick up our car. This was not a part of Milwaukee I would have gone to on my own, so appreciated learning more about our neighbor to the north and eating the local food.

I gave 2 tickets to my son for his birthday - He loves to try all sorts of dining experiences and this was so fun for him. He really seems to have enjoyed it. He found places he would certainly go back to, and has told people about some of the places he liked. the added History lesson was greatly enjoyted also.

informational, good food, but . . .

We had a great time and our tour guides were great. The food was all good, but I was surprised that it was only really 3 restaurants - I guess I was expecting a restaurant tour and some of the nicer restaurants beyond cheese pizza, mexican & irish and not cannoli and olives on the sidewalk, and beer in the back lot - we did have a good time and did enjoy ourselves - it was just that what I imagined what it would be and what it was were different. The historical information of the area was good. thanks

Haley was so friendly and a great tour guide. She made the whole experience a great one! The restaurants we stopped at were busy but always made time for us and the staff at the restaurants were super friendly. Going on this tour opened my eyes to not only new restaurants I need to go back to, but restaurants I need to tell my friends about as well! KUDOS!

This tour way exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous tour guide (Josh) that provided humor and great historical information about the Brady Street area. There was a good variety of restaurants with great food. We appreciated our special dietary restrictions being accommdated. We loved the Brady Street area and will come up from Chicago again to dine at some of the restaurants we toured. Zaffiro's had some of the best pizza we've ever had and we will be back! The only recommendation/suggestion I would have to offer is to provide a sample menu of what to expect either online or at the first tasting location. We will definitely come back and try out some of the other tours offered by MKEFoodTours. Thank you for a great afternoon!

My daughter found the walking food tour online and asked if we could do it before she went back to school - it was a wonderful mother-daughter outing on a beautiful day in a great city. When you vacation in other cities, usually you'll take a tour of that city - we have to remember to tour our own city - check out new areas and/or new offerings. Milwaukee is a great city and has much to offer - we need to do all we can to promote it, starting by touring it ourselves so we can spread the word. Thanks for the experience.
