This was truly one of the top highlights of our week long California excursion! Diane and Trish were absolutely fantastic, full of rich insights into the Market and the neighborhood, and food was stellar! It was a refreshing break from the typical L.A. touristy activities....definitely recommend this to all!

Enthusiastic tour leader. My 26-year-old daughter and her boyfriend had a great time with me and her father. We're local, and we'll be back to further enjoy the places we were introduced to.

My husband and I really enjoyed Diane and the food tour. We learned a lot about the history of and current Farmers Market, enjoyed all the tastes and got to know a small part of L.A. better. We'd definitely recommend the tour and take another one on a future trip to the area.

Loved our guide Diane! She was fabulous and extremely knowledgable. I live in Simi Valley and have never been to the Farmers Market, so this was such a treat for me. All the vendors were courteous and genuinely seemed excited about having us taste their products and hear about their establishments. I would thoroughly recommend this tasting tour to all. My only draw back to the tasting, was the amount of carbs being tasted ie cookies, donuts, bread, candy etc.... The brazillian bbq was fantastic and the chinese chicken salad from Joans was to die for. All in all a very, very nice tour.......

Really enjoyed the tour...the Farmer's Market and 3rd Street have a ton to offer, don't think I would have known about any of it unless I had seen the tour rated highly on TripAdvisor. Would recommend the tour to foodies!

A Must-Do for Farmer's Market visitors!

I have been an LA resident for almost 50 years and finally got around to going to the world famous Farmers Market. I came across the Melting Pot Food Tour on the internet and I was so glad I did. Our tour guide Diane was the best. She was very knowledgeable, gave us great insights into the Farmers Market history and because she is a chef, she gave us great food tips. It was nice meeting some of the local vendors and hearing their stories, but the highlight was the eating. We got to sample about 12 vendors wares and my wife and I were stuffed by vendor 6! One could go through the Farmers Market in 30-45 minutes, but you would miss all the history and interesting stories. Take the time to take this tour. Well paced, you learn new things and food included. Diane and her sister really care about their customers and they make sure you feel comfortable and unrushed. Definitely taking the Pasadena trip soon. Take this unique tour, you won't regret it. CDR

It was an excellent experience. I've spoken to multi-year natives of LA and they haven't seen as much of the area in their lives as we did in a few hours. Great time.
