| This was a great tour to take. My husband I absolutely enjoyed this tour on our visit to L.A. because not only did we get to know the restaurants in L.A. better, but also we got the opportunity to learn about its histories and owners. Additionally, we got a chance to eat throughout the entire tour!! It was great and we were definitely full even before we got midway through the tour. Definitely check this tour out!! It's great for locals and out of town tourists! |

| It was great fun to learn and eat at the same time (two of my favorite things!).
There was a lot to remember for future visits and to visits to my local stores as well.
Diane was a great leader and storyteller. |

| The food tasting tour was a perfect blend of learning about the area's history, tasting and learning about some wonderful foods, and hearing the stories of the different eatery owners. It was nice that our tour had a manageable group size of ten. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. While we tasted a nice variety of items at the Farmers Market, my one suggestion would be to include a taste of some of the market's fabulous produce. |

| My friend and I have done all of the standard LA tours when she has visited in the past and thought this would be a great way to learn about my neighborhood and the overwhelming variety at the Farmer's Market at 3rd and Fairfax. This tour is fantastic and provides a variety of international tastings that will leave you full by the end (actually mid-tour). It made many stops along 3rd Street as well that I have been wanting to try. At the end of the tour we decided to walk back to the Farmer's Market and took advantage of the vintage shopping along the way as well as stopping back into the places the we had sampled or that were mentioned along the tour, like Kiss My Bundt bakery. We bought baby bundts that we're a hit at our dinner party that night. |

| Starting off the day at the Farmer's Market, followed by an amble through food shops and a book store on 3rd St is a fine way to spend a morning in LA.
Diane was entertaining and an enthusiastic guide to the foodie delights along the way. The food offerings were varied and we dscovered some places we would probably have overlooked on our own tour through the market. We came back a couple of times during our stay in LA to shop at the places she took us to.
The tour is very leisurely and not that much walking. The treats provided by the Cookbook Library were especially yummy. So nice of them! |

| A small group allowed us to hear and have interaction with Diane and the vendors, who provided a variety of generous samples which were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. As a certified meeting professional (CMP) details such as parking validation, water bottle, bus token and a shopping bag were well thought out professional touches. Introduction to the market and Fairfax area through Melting Pot Tours was an eye opener as a future destination. I'll spread the word about your tour. It was a great time! I look forward to returning.
I appreciate Lisa's follow-up telephone CALLS to resolve the purchase of the ticket.

| We had a wonderful time on this culinary tour! Lisa and Diane, our guides and the owners of the company were friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great way to begin your exploration of the Los Angeles culinary scene. By the way, we had so many tastings that we didn't eat again for 24 hours. We would highly recommend it. |

| My 12 year old daughter and I were given tickets as a Christmas gift from her mother. We both enjoyed the morning immensely. The guide was so personable and informative. My daughter enjoyed her company as much as the adults on the tour. We both learned ao much and enjoyed the samplings. Our favorite was the Brazilian bar-b-que in the market. |

| I treated myself to this walking tour as I was unfamiliar with that particular part of town. I am glad I did. A great way to get to know that area with wonderful, knowledgeable tour guides and plenty of sampling along the way and a chance to meet most of the store owners who provided us detailed information on their shops and their products. An unforgettable experience and one that I will do again with friends and family |
