| I loved the insiders view of the area! I'll be returning to dine and shop. I'm actually really excited about the chance to explore. |

| I treated myself to this walking tour as I was unfamiliar with that particular part of town. I am glad I did. A great way to get to know that area with wonderful, knowledgeable tour guides and plenty of sampling along the way and a chance to meet most of the store owners who provided us detailed information on their shops and their products. An unforgettable experience and one that I will do again with friends and family |

| Our visit to the Farmer's Market and 3rd Street in Los Angeles, guided by Trish from Melting Pot Food Tours, was a great way to spend a few hours. We learned about the history of the Market and got to taste some wonderful samples of everything from doughnuts to cheese to olives to peanut butter. Then we walked down the fun 3rd Street, and sampled some more (tea, bundt cakes, Japanese food), learning along the way. The vendors were very generous with their time, telling the stories of how they came into their businesses. The highlight was probably our tour guide Trish who was knowledgeable, personable and very accessible. I'd recommend this as a fun activity for both those from the L.A. area and outsiders. |

| My friend and I signed up for the Farmer's Market Tour. It ended up to be a semi-private tour.
The guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. Needless to say, my friend and I got good serving of food, considering we were the only ones who went on the tour.
I like to eat and learn a little history along the way. I like the brochure of the planned locations we will frequent and the locations of the places where samples would be given.
Since it is a small tour, it is fine without some type of special head phones. But, I can imagine if the group was any more than 8 people, we would need some special head phones to hear the guide, as the market can be a loud place. |

| Diane was great and entertaining. It was a nice warm day but no one in our group
seemed to mind. We had a leisurely stroll and visited some nice restaurants. I live in Los Angeles and I wasn't aware that these nice restaurants existed. Considering a comparable San Diego 'foodie' tour is $75.00, this tour was a good value.
When I get some time I will take the Pasadena tour also. |

| When you go to other countries you take their tours to learn more about that region. This is an excellent tour for people who want to learn about their own backyard. I learned a lot and had a fun time tasting all the great food. |

| Diane is an amazing tour guide--extremely knowledgeable and enthusiatic about all the locations we visited. This tour would be a fun event for out-of-town guests and also for locals who want to learn more about their community. I had no idea there were so many great restaurants/bakeries/tea shops in the area. |

| I really enjoyed the Farmers Market and Third Street walking tour with Diane. I have lived in Los Angeles since 1991 and frequent the Farmers Market and yet I still learned a lot about its history. It was very personal and Diane is extremely well-informed and well-equiped to answer questions. For something fun and different, I highly recommend this tour, and it's great as something special to do with out of town guests. |

| I did not know what to expect on this food tour, but it was more than I could have ever imagined. I learned a lot about the Farmers Market, its history, the history of the area and L.A. too. I also learned some food tips and a lot about all the restaurants we visited as well as those we did not visit. Our tour guide Diane was a delight and made us all feel welcome. She was very knowledgeable and took an interest in us as well.
I would recommend this food tour to anyone who is new to L.A. as well as to locals who don't know much about this area. You'll be well fed (the food was delicious) and well entertained. |

| We had a fun time on this tour and would recommend to family and friends of all ages, local or not. Diane was very informative and friendly, the small groups were great, and the tour length is not too long and not too short. Price is fair and we enjoyed learning about other points of interest within the city. The only thing I would change about this tour is the fact that about half of the stops are pastries/sweets and I would take some out and replace it with other tastings as the sweets were getting overwhelming for both of us. Would recommend. |
