Old Pasadena Food Tasting Tour

The food shops we visitied were great! I have been to Old Town Pasadena several times in the past and have always visited the "chain stores" and stayed away from the smaller independent shops. This experience has allowed me to broden my focus and to see Old Town Pasadena in a different more positive way. I also liked our tour guide, Summer, and wish she included more architecture and history. She also taught us the importance of looking up. This was a great way to see this city and I recommend it highly. I felt the price was very reasonable and have already reccomended it to several friends.

The food was good, the tour guide was good...delightful way to spend an afternoon. Great way to show my mom around and learn about the history of Pasadena as well . Not a bad price when all things considered (including free samples). If your a vegetarian, you pretty much get large meals instead of samples. The chocolate shop was a little skimpy as to what they gave out (one piece of dark or milk chocolate). Overall, highly recommended.

Summer was the best mellow and informative tour guide. She took you through the tour with ease and really took the time to learn about you and remember names while telling the history of Pasadena. There were several birthdays in the group including my mothers and she even had birthday candles which was a special treat to sing happy b-day to them on Colorado Blvd in front of a french pastry shop. My aunts and mother loved the entire tour from start to finish and they can't wait to stop by at the restaurants and boutiques we visited again. We may soon sign up for the Farmers Market tour with more people!

Summer, our guide, was very knowledgable and made everyone feel very comfortable. The whole experience was wonderful and I enjoyed the variety of food tastings which were ample.

My boyfriend (who loves to cook) and I had a great experience, the guide was very knowledgable about the food and places we visited in Pasadena. Food choices were versatile and price of the tour very reasonable.Perfect way to spend the first half of a day!We are definately taking another tour soon.

tour guide, Summer, was great. Really enjoyed all the history given about Old Town Pasadena. Had never been and was very cute, quaint....wish we had planned time to hang out and shop after. Enjoyed the tastings, although none of the food was just incredible...was good though. Not sure I'd go back to any of the restaurants, but enjoyed the stories and history on each place. We had a nice group so was also nice meeting other people. I do recommend!

I really enjoyed the Old Pasadena Food Tour. Our tour guide, Summer, was very informative and interesting. I had never been to Old Town Pasadena before and this was a great introduction. Based on my experience with Melting Pot Tours, I would take other tours with this company.

...as the Farmers Market Tour. Had a great time getting to know all the familiar hotspots of Old Pasadena as well as some of the history. You will dfntly walk away full from this tour.

We had a really nice time on the tour, and Lisa was great. It was interesting to learn about some history of Pasadena, while tasting the local foods. I would suggest to have water for everyone at each stop. And the tour could be 3 hours instead of 4, as our feet were tired by the 3rd hour. But overall, it was a fun, unique thing to do, and we may even have our parents go when they come to visit!
