Melting Pot Food Tours

Lisa and Diane - the two guides - have done an outstanding job setting up their business. At every stop they knew the proprietors and we were given food samples to taste. We - and everyone - really enjoyed the tour we did starting at Farmers Market and walking 3rd Street.

This was a really nice walking tour, learning the history of Farmers Market and the Fairfax district in a casual atmosphere. The food tasting was great as was the tour guide.

The tour guides are sisters and amazingly sweet and authentic. The tour is very fun and extremely interesting. Take this tour. You'll love it!!!

Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the farmers market & 3rd street walking tour. All of the food samples were great and the tour guides were very informative. My favorite treats were the donuts and macaroons. During the summer months, I suggest that the tea shop serve iced tea. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting los angeles.

The Farmers Market tour was well worth the price -- even if they hadn't fed us, since the guides were very knowledgable and friendly. I've already recommended the tour to my friends and co-workers. I'm looking forward to attending other Melting Pot Tours events.

Our guide was wonderful and really knew Pasadena inside and out. She was very informative and the selection of eateries were outstanding.

I absolutely loved all the history the guide gave us. That was my favorite aspect of the tour. The food was delicious and I do really appreciate that we visited family-owned places. Our guide was awesome! She was wonderful in making everyone feel welcome. Suggestions: add 1 more savory tasting in place of 1 dessert tasting. Don't intermingle a sweet tasting before all savory tastings are done. Also, please incorporate a coffee/tea with one of the desserts!

My daughter (14) and I enjoyed learning about the history and architecture of Pasadena as well as the great eateries in the area. We are both vegetarian and found lots to eat on the three hour+ tour with our guide Summer.

Great half day tour. Kendall was a great tour guide and was enthusiastic and informative. We were stuffed at the end of the tour. Highly recommended.

Good guide good trip

Our tour guide Summer was awesome. The tour was not only informative, but also enjoyable and fun. We had a lovely evening, and hated to see it end.

My family and I did the Farmers Market & W. 3rd Street Food Tasting Tour and loved it. I am not a doughnut eater, and I still cannot stop thinking about the doughnuts from Bob's Doughnuts and coffee. The tour was a nice way to sample a little of everything at the Farmers Market. Everything was wonderful, the food, the history and the tour guide. If you are in the area make sure you check this tour out.

My family and I recently attended the East LA Latin Food Tour. What a great day. What better way to experience the local flavors of a city. We enjoyed the food, history and our tour guide, Summer. We enjoyed the tour so much, we came back the next day to do the Farmers Market & 3rd Street tour as well.

My husband and I decided to treat my mom for her birthday to a Melting Pot Food Tour. It had been 3 years since our last tour, so we were pretty excited to see what had changed. We had the pleasure of having Lisa (we had her sister Diane on our previous tour) as our tour guide this time around. Lisa was just as fun and knowledgeable about the area, the history, and the businesses that we visited. My mom had a great time, and we are so thankful that we decided to try this tour again.
