I wanted to do something special for my Husband as it was our 13th year anniversary so I booked us a tour. It was amazing! Our tour guide Summer was fantastic and extremely friendly. We had such a blast and would definately reccomend it for someone who wants to visit Pasadena or just wants something different to do. We are locals from Orange County and have never seen or been to Pasadena so it was a real treat to be able to see the city with an expert tour guide. Not to mention the restaurants that we went to were spectacular! Real treasures are hiding in the midst of Old Town! Would definately reccomend it to our friends, and we are even thinking about doing it again with a group of our own friends!
Thanks for a fabulous time! |

An absolutely wonderful food tour! It's the perfect balance of savory and sweet, plus you learn a lot of Pasadena history along the way. It's a great activity for friends, family, couples, and individuals. Highly recommended and I can't wait to try the company's other food tours! |

Our Tasting Tour was fabulous and totally worth it! Diane is very knowledgable and friendly - she told us many interesting stories about the history of the Farmers' Market and various vendors. The variety of food and booths that we got to visit and sample was really great - she has a wonderful relationship with the vendors, which makes for an even better experience for those on the tour. We were visting my husband's daughter who is living in LA - we're from Maryland - and all three of us loved the tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! |

My husband and I had a great time hearing the history of Pasadena, tasting the various ethnic offerings, the walk in the fresh air and talking with other people in the group. It was an overall wonderful experience with our hostess, Summer, providing an additional personal touch. Our only regret was that at times we felt rushed to eat and move on. We came back home and have told several others of the wonderful tour and will give it as a Christmas gift to our son and daughter-in-law. Thank you melting pot tours! |

The Farmer's Market is a very interesting place with great history which our guide shared. The food was very tasty along the way. The tour down 3rd street near Fairfax to visit other unique restaurants and shops was also quite good - places I never would have known about or gone to if just driving by... We also had a star spotting in one of the locations which was fun. A great outing especially on a beautiful day. |

This tour is just as much fun for the locals as it is for the tourists visiting L.A., our guide Diane was lots of fun and full of information about the area. Learned a lot!! Prepare to have a full stomach at the end of the tour! Do not eat breakfast prior. can't wait to try the Old town Pasadena tour. |

I understood the tour to be of downtown LA eateries that specialize in good food. What we got was tasting at the Farmers Market and a history of the market itself. First stop they cut 3 donuts in little pieces at a donut shop, served with so so coffee. One stop was a small piece of taffee, and another was a toothpick dipped in peanut butter, hardly a tasting experience. The tour director was very nice and knowledgeable, but the food was poor and one bite per stop. They say you won't need lunch after the tour, fine if you think 7 little bites constutes lunch, but we immediately went and ate after.
At 50 dollars this was not worth it...at all. |

I like I like the group and the food was good....the girls that lead the group nice and made you feel comfortable and al and all everyone seems to enjoy.....the only thing that reck the evening the girl was late one hour....but would of been ok if they would of just brought out the wine and cheese sooner it would of made the wait nice but by the time they brought out the wine the girl showed up and we had to hurry.....the star news said there was to be a goody bag too which we did not get.....but all and all I enjoyed my time out and the company and food was good. |

Our evening started off slow. We waited an hour for our tour to start due to traffic issues with our guide. Loved the wine, but had to wait too long for our cheese. Once we got started our tour was nice. Loved the food, lots of history and interesting stories. It was something different and once we got going I enjoyed the experience. |

winery obviously didn't even expect us, half hour later a substitute woman person arrived and said the owner was stuck in traffick in the south bay. Finally after over an hour were served the promised cheese and after an hour and a half the owner of the tour arrived.
at that point the tour commenced but we were informed that not all of the places might be able to accomodate us. we were given the option of continuing and doing the tour again at a reduced rate or redoing the tour at a later date. We will see what happens. She says she has my name and i have prepaid for three tours. |

I used to think that all the good restaurants were on Colorado Blvd. Oh, boy. You can tell I am not that much of a foodie. After the tour, I went back to some of the tiny alleyways and the wonderful restaurants behind the ivy walls to experience the tastes and smells again. It's a good overview of what's available in Pasadena across cultural lines. The tasting experience was so much fun! I would recommend it to my other friends. |
