Over the next two days of our stay in Pasadena, we went back to most of the places we visited on the tour. We had fabulous meals.

A fun morning with great food

We had a group of 5 adults who all agreed that we had a really fun experience. A couple of us lived in Pasadena about 25 years ago and were pleased to see how the back alleys of Old Town Pasadena have been transformed. There were frequent stops to sample the wide variety of ethnic foods now available. The food was wonderful, the walk was leisurely, and I felt like we were welcome guests at our stops. I think this is a great marketing tool for the Mom and Pop businesses. Thanks to Mike, our guide, for a fun time!

I and my son really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guides were both knowledgeable and very cordial -- we had a fun group and really enjoyed the samples and all the history and info behind the Farmers Market and beyond. We woud definitly recommend this to anyone who wants something a bit different than your average tour. Thanks for a good time.

Farme'rs Market was awesome
Sun, Apr 11, 10   9:30 AM Lukurtz Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
We all loved walking around the Farmer's Market to see what was under that one roof. Each booth brought their own specialties and the tastings were excellent. Joan's and The French Little Next Door were are favorites on Third Street. It was a great experience to share with family that lived in LA as well as family from out of town. Our Guide was well informed with all the history attached to different locations.

The Farmers Market is absolutely fantastic and now that we have been exposed we can't help but go back. All of the food on the tour was delicious and it was a great way for us to learn some history of the city as well. Enjoy!

Our tour guide, Mike was on time, interesting and organized. I learned so much about Pasadena and the local culture that I did not know (and I am a local from the San Diego area). The food tastings were varied, tasty, and big. I have been a a number of food tours, and this one rated way up there! More food tastings than any other tour I have been on in many cities around the U.S. Highly recommended for adults...not so sure children would be excited about all the local history information in between the food tastings.

Great tour, great food!

We had a wonderful time. A California native, Diane's knowledge of, and affection for the area gave her tour just that little extra something. Along with a globe-spanning array of food, we were treated to culinary tips, Los Angeles history and celebrity sighting locales and indicators (look for the paparazzi clustered outside restaurants!). We're just sorry we didn't have time to take the Pasadena tour---but we'll certainly sign up the next time we're in So. Cal.

Amazing and would do it again

We found this online in planning our trip to California. Since we love food and are always up for trying something new, we decided on this. It was WONDERFUL!! Diane was a great tour guide and both her and her sister Lisa were a pleasure to talk to. They had lots of great knowledge and gave a great insider view to the Farmers Market and West 3rd Street. I would definitely do this tour again!!

From the wonderful food, to the interesting info, to walking down 3rd street, I am local and enjoyed the tour just as much as my out of town guests! I would recommend this tour to anyone! Its really quite affordable considering everything you get!

Great mix of food, but you have to fight for it
Sun, Mar 14, 10   9:30 AM Hamdya Male 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The tour was a lot of fun. The locations we stopped at were really good and I enjoyed the walk as well. I never knew 3rd street had so many nice restaurants. My favorite spot was Joan's on 3rd. Everything there was tasty and fresh. I went back and got some cupcakes, bread, and cheese. All of which were delicious What I didn't like? ---------------------------- 1) The technique and presentation of tasting. It was more like a fight for food amongst the rest of the group. Most of the time we weren't even sitting down and would be standing in random spots trying to hold and eat multiple items. This began to get more and more annoying from one spot to the next.

An interesting out of the way information and tour that you would not find on your own. The tour gave inside information on the Farmers Market and local eateries that you don't normally see or hear. The tour guide was friendly and quite knowledgable. I highly recoomend the tour.
