Melting Pot Food Tours

My husband and I went on the Tour for Father's Day. It was a wonderful way to spend that special Sunday. We had Tour Director extraordinaire Kendall who provided us with a magical time. The other people who were supposed to be on our Tour did not show up so it turned out to be a "Private Tour" for me and Ken which made it even more memorable! Thank you to Kendall and The Melting Pot Food Tours for a spectacular adventure. We look forward to participating in other Tours that you offer!

Everyone arrived early as requested so we began right on time. The tour had a perfect balance of history and how the business got to where it is today along with a great selection of items to sample. This event was selected to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary in hopes of capturing the magic of when we were dating - and we weren't disappointed. We were in an area we frequent but every stop was to a new location with hidden gems around every corner. Thank you Lisa and Melting Pot for a wonderful time.

This was an educational and delicious tour. Our tour guide, Barbara, was wonderful and informative. My fiance and I really enjoyed all of the stops, yummy food, and learning about Old Town Pasadena, which has quite a rich history! I'd recommend to come hungry, as you will leave feeling full. The tour was able to cater to me vegetarian requirements and Barbara made sure I had always had enough options.

A wonderful tour that kept us entertained, informed and our stomachs full the entire time! Highly recommend!

I truly enjoyed the Old Pasadena Food Tour. It was my first food tour - and I was surprised by how much I learned about the area and that the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the tour.

We started with a Thursday night tour of Old Town Pasadena and later a Saturday morning tour of Farmer's Market and Third Street in the Fairfax area. Our tour guides, Summer in Pasadena and Diane at Farmer's Market, were superb.....interesting, knowledgeable, fun.....couldn't have been better. It was a retirement celebration gift for my friend and it worked out great; history, architecture, local lore, and wonderful food all in one. We highly recommend these tours to anyone.

Everything I wanted to know about Los Angeles but couldn't ask - because I never knew it existed. History, culture, community, AND fabulous food tastings - at places where I would never have stopped, now recommend to my friends, and want to visit again and again. Wonderful!

I"d been wanting to do this tour since I found out about it a couple of years ago. You hear a lot about old Pas but it seemed to much to tackle on my own, so the tour was a great introduction to unique shops and small cafes with good food, and also an opportunity to get some history of the place.I did an evening tour which was super as it covered dinner time and it was cooler.

We took both the Old Town Pasadena tour and the Farmer's Market/Third Street tour. Both were superb. Our guides, Summer in Pasadena and Diane at Farmer's Market, were informative, interesting, and fun; actually they were fantastic. We left with a much better knowledge of history, architecture, and local lore.....plus the food was absolutely delicious and varied. We will definitely do these, and other, tours again.

This tour was really fun and I learned alot of the history of the farmers market and then also info on current events. I hope highly recommend this tour to friends and family.

Our tour guide Summer was awesome. The tour was not only informative, but also enjoyable and fun. We had a lovely evening, and hated to see it end.

Kendell our tour guide was great! She was very knowledgeable about the area and all of the food vendors. I went on this tour with my sister as a gift for her 30th birthday. It was a very special day and I am glad we chose to do the tour on this day because the tour was fabulous. The vendors were very friendly and we got to meet a lot of the owners. The food was great! I did expect more meal type food like the Churrascaria vendor but we mainly had snacks and light bites. The only thing I really didn't care for was the public transportation (bus) back to the farmer's market. They should really have a private van or shuttle, it was just weird taking the city bus back to your car. Other than that I would definetely do another tour.

Consistently awesome, just like their other tours. The restaurant selection was wonderful, and the food were delicious. Our tour guide Kendall was very knowledgeable, and very insightful. Highly recommended.

Had a very good time. Arrived late to join the group and they accommodated with no problem, was not difficult to find. Great host, very friendly. The food was also excellent, varied for all tastes. Learned about the area history also.
