This tour was great, I highly reccomend it. Food, drinks and fun facts about South Beach. The guide is very knowledgable and funny. Do yourself a favor and spend the $120 for a great walking tour of SoBe

What a great tour! Not only was it a food tour but we got history and architecture with some movement involved. Great time and got to see and try some stuff we would've never have seen or tried on our own.

Great fun tour and introduction to South Beach.

We did a Saturday evening South Beach dinner tour hosted by Richie, and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I enjoy trying the different local flavors when I'm traveling, and I believe the tour represented some unique options in South Beach. I especially enjoyed that the diversity of the food was matched by the diversity of the restaurants: from hole-in-the-wall eateries to finer dining. With so many food options in the area, it was nice to hit some interesting places that we probably never would have found on our own. Our request for a food accommodation during booking was graciously accepted. Most of us feared that we were already full halfway through the tour, though the food was spaced and portioned well enough that we ended comfortably satiated. The history of the restaurants and areas was well-explained, though I probably would have liked more of that aspect (history nerd). If I have any critique, I did notice a couple of times that the walking between some of the stops seemed pretty lengthy. We were not bothered by that at all, though older or less mobile tourists should take note. Our guide Richie was knowledgeable and fun, and fostered a relaxed atmosphere that had everyone interacting at their own comfort level. Overall, a great experience, and a nice introduction to South Beach. Thank you!

One of the best experiences I have ever done. We tried several South American cuisines that even included dessert and drinks! Our tour guide did a great job explaining the food, the culture, and even talked about the cities historical and pop culture sites. Definitely a must do while in Miami!

This was a very good tour providing a very good sample of the Latin food that Miami has to offer. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and took the tour and quality very seriously! I would not consider myself a foodie (although my wife is), and I still enjoyed it immensely! There are a couple drink stops included so be aware that you will also have the option of drinking some liquor. The food was all good, varied in origin and the portions were large. The tour is set up to sort of encourage social interaction amongst the tour participants so you should be somewhat interested in socializing.This tour is adequate as a full meal, so eat a light lunch and don't make plans for eating afterwards. Good bargain!

Pro's: Great Food, Fun tour guide, learned some history and saw sights in addition to food. Con's: Information on parking should be included on the printed ticket. Food at the Jewish deli was 1 little rugaleh..which was good but kind of silly. Should include at least the Pastrami which the restaurant is famous for. Or include several different types of jewish pastries, not just 1 little cookie. Great tour, I would do it again when more friends come to visit.

Very good food, learned a bit about Miami culture, and love our fun guide!

Our group of 5 colleagues took the SoBe food tour with Anna and had a great time. There was a good variety of food stops and one we actually returned to twice later in the week.

A group of girl friends met in Miami to celebrate a milestone birthday. We truly enjoyed the South Beach Food Tour. Not only was the food wonderful, the drinks were unexpected and delightful. Our guide was the best! She was knowledgeable about the South Beach area and the history of the city as well as the origins for the different foods we tasted. So much fun...would highly recommend to first time visitors to the South Beach area.

Better restaurants

Very enthusiastic, experient, wise guide; great way of spending a day and knowing better this part of the city, its history and architecture. The food was of excellent quality too, very diversified, exquisite and tasty! But unfortunately it was on small quantity, and I had to have a snack after the tour... I do recommend, though, because it was a really pleasant time spent.

Anna was our tour guide, she was friendly and approachable. She explained the reason for each visit and a little bit about the place, owners and area. She explained the food we got to sample and gave advise and hints if we were to come back on our own. The places themselves were all very good, I'm a VERY fussy eater but there was only one dish I didn't like (which was fish). It was a great way to familiorise ourselves with South Beach and we were able to use this knowledge for the rest of our trip. I would definately recommend and I hope to find similar experiences in future cities that I visit.
