Jim was an excellent guide into the Chinatown Neighborhood. Not only was he knowlegeable about the markets and foods, but in the language and customs. He was also very entertaining and knowledgeable about other parts of the city as well. The tour was very educational, inspirational, and delicious. I have since brought friends there and looked like a confident expert as I guided them to the best places. |

My husband and I attended the Chinatown tour for our 10 year anniversary. We had been to Chinatown to eat and shop in the stores a few times before, but never ventured into the markets, bakeries, and butcher shops. It was great. Jim was impressive with his knowledge of the area and culture. All of the stops on the tour were interesting and most involved yummy treats. I especially loved the Chinese market. It was bustling and crowded, but had so much to offer. The Dim Sum lunch was delicious. It was especially nice to be able to sit and absorb some of the things we learned throughout the day. We can't wait to come back and explore some more. This tour is a "must do" whether you are local or new to Boston. |
