| Enjoyed the tour. Jim was so very knowledgeable. The dim sum was great. After the tour my friend and I went back to some of the stores we visited with Jim on our tour. We were not well received. The same people we saw with Jim were not courteous at all and acted liked they didn't know what we were asking for. The Silky Way and the Herb Shop were the two shops. I will never go back to Chinatown for that reason. The tour is a great take for anyone and I would recommend the tour highly.

| The tour was not lead by Michele but we had a blast any way. The food was really good and our guide made sure we weren't given anything too exotic. He explained them but told us we could go back and get the exotic items if we wished. It ended with Dim Sum and I enjoyed everything that was served to us. |

| Jim was prompt in starting and keeping on schedule. His knowledge of Chinese language, culture and food was exceptional. The different shops and C-Mart included on the tour were most interesting and fascinating. My wife and I most enjoyed the lunch very much, it was so different from our idea of a "Chinese Restaurant". Having a group of just 8 was an ideal size. We have already recommended this tour to several of our friends. Mary and Dave |

| Informative, interesting, well worth the money. The tour guide was well versed in the cultural aspects of Chinatown: history, food, language, he had it all! He provided a brief history lesson, which made us aware of the some of the adversity the Chinese immigrants faced. During the tour, he moved us right along - but paused whenever we had questions or wanted a bit more time somewhere. The sampling of locations was great: bakeries, candy shop, restaurant, pharmacy, grocery.... And lunch was delicious!
We did spend a good amount of time outside, so bad weather would have been awful.
I highly recommend this tour. |

| Enjoyed the tour especially the supermarket section I do believe there is an opening for a specific tour or talk with products in this particular area and maybe a little more information on the types of utensils used. Lunch was especially enjoyable and very informative really enjoyed the overal experience of seeing the food arrive in the dining room and the method of service. Would be nice if the initial part of the tour could be held somewhere with a little shelter from the weather otherwise no complaints. Thanks for a good morning. |

| we loved our guide, his knowledge of chinese culture, the language and the history of boston's chinatown. additionally, his tidbits of info at every stop helped bring the tour to life, not to mention the fantastic food we had the chance to experience. top notch all the way. can't wait to do the north end tour as well. |

| My husband and I spent a long weekend in Boston over Memorial Day 2009, and this tour was one of the hits of our trip. Our guide, Jim, was charming, eloquent, funny, and most importantly, both knowledgeable and exceptionally well prepared. He interacted well with the 4 quite disparate couples in our group, and with each of the shopkeepers we visited. Without the tour, we would probably have avoided this part of Boston altogether, but armed with the knowledge Jim gave us we enjoyed some wonderful meals there. Highly recommended! |

| this is an entertaining way to get to know about an interesting area of boston. i've been in and around chinatown for over 30 years, and still learned new things about the neighborhood and its merchants. our guide was smart and funny, and really knows his way around chinatown. the food was great, too. what more could you ask for? |
