| We absolutely loved our experience. Having eaten on the North End for years, we were amazed and enchanted by the back alleyways we'd never before noticed. Our guide was terrific, and the tastings were wonderful. It was extremely well organized--each shop was ready for us, tastings prepared, and they were warm and welcoming. Loved learning the history of the area--and have a greater appreciation for the many cultural changes there. We enjoyed it so much (it was a gift from our son), that we gave it to our kids when they visited from CA. Our son-in-law is a chef and couldn't stop talking about it. Highly recommend it. |

| I really liked the tour and our tour guide was brilliant in his knowledge of cuisine and flavors. My only complaints--a lot of standing in one place (I prefer walking or short periods of standing) and I expected to be able to taste more foods. The tastes we received were interesting, flavorful, and enlightening to the content of the tour--but I wanted more food!!
Overall, definitely worth the trip downtown. And nice to walk around an area I don't spend much time in. |

| A very interesting look at the culinary and demographic history of the North End of Boston, from a different angle than the usual one. It was very much enjoyed by all the ages levels in our group. |

| This tour was highly recommended to me by two friends that had taken it a few months ago. When I mentioned it to my friends..I wasn't surprised to get an overwhelming response ! Six of us decided to attend, and enjoyed it immensely! Our tour guide Beth was a joy! She was a wealth of information! Coming form an Italian family, and having traveled to Italy several times, I thought I was pretty knowledgable about Italian food & culture...but after spending the afternoon in the North End with Beth..I really came away from that experience with so much more appreciation and knowledge of my Italian heritage!
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

| We really enjoyed our North End Tour. Our daughter had gone on the tour in the fall and highly recommended it. If you enjoy Italian cooking and eating, then I would say it is a must. You are on your feet almost all of the 3 hours so bring water, eat beforehand, and wear comfortable shoes. Enjoy! |

| We had a wonderful morning meeting the local merchants and enjoying the aromas and tastes of Italy!! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, she brought out the real people of the North End! My sister and brother-in-law had a good taste of Boston and will remember their visit for all the right reasons! Would recommend this tour for any person that enjoys history, food and good company! |

| Jim our knowlegdeable tour guide and Chef on Hiatus walked us through our
culinary tour of the North End. We sampled baked goods, cheese and Italian cold cuts of meat. I tasted a proscuito to die for! We finished the tour in a wine shop that
served us some Lemicello. This tasting tour in the North End was an entertaining
and a fun time. I highly recommend this tour. I can't wait to take the Chinatown tour
July 26. |

| Three hours FULL of information by Jim, a chef. How incredible; knowledge and expertise! Thank you for coordinating all this with the vendors. My North End world exploded with new enthusiasm. They were supportive and I can't wait to return for shopping there. The Wine store people looked scared. We were warned. Do they want us as customers? I have several people who would want to go there as they are Italian wine collectors. Yet, I hesitate. Maybe we need a larger dose of Limencello to move to a different wine store! |

| Jim is a wonderful guide, extremely knowledgeable, a great speaker. I thought I knew a few things about Italian food, but having Jim, a trained chef, as our guide made this tour such a fun learning experience. I will be using the information he shared with us for a long time to come because I enjoy cooking and shopping for specialty foods. I would recommend this tour without a bit of hesitation. I have encouraged all of my family in the Boston area to make the time to take this tour. |
