This is the 2nd time I have taken the tour. Both times I had Jim as my guide. This time I took my Italian cousins that had not been the first time. My 15 year old niece also came along and she had a great time trying new food and learning alot. She is going to Italy with school next year and is even more excited about it now.
I would highly recommend this tour to locals as well as tourists. If you love food and culture you will love it. I am planning yet another tour in the fall with some relatives who will be here from out of state. Looking forward to another outstanding time. Thanks again and hats off to Jim |

My self and 8 cousins took this tour; we are of Italian heritage, our grandparents all came from Italy. This tour brought us back to wonderful food we were served as children and have long forgotten. After our tour we shopped and brought home food we hadn't had in years and plans to pull out recipes' and cook more. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and shared stories. Our tour director Jim was fabulous with his knowledge of food, culture and history. This was my second time with a tour and will do it again when more family comes to town. Thanks so much. |

Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable about the regions of Italy, the types of food the people ate in the regions, the history of the North End, and of course, about the actual food. We learned a lot and enjoyed it immensely. I would recommend this highly as a chance to see some local culture, and learn a lot about food in the process. |

Five of us got together to celebrate a birthday. We had a wonderful time and learned so much about the North End that we didn't know, even though we've been there many times. Our tour guide, Jim, was so knowledgeable and gave us many new places to shop, history of the North End and information about the food. I'd definitely recommend this tour. |

This is a great tour for food and related history of the North End. It suits neophytes and foodies alike. You don't have to be Italian to love it! Tempting tastes along the way from sweet pastries to real olive oil and real balsamic vinegar. This whets your appetite for hitting a local restaurant at the end of your tour. Jim is a great guide, well informed and helpful. |

I bought this tour for my Mother for a Christmas gift. It came recommended by a friend. We had a beautiful day, weather wise, and the tour itself was excellent. It started with a little history lesson and then a walking tour of Little Italy. We booked the 3:00 tour, the only drawback is that if you wanted to go back to the shops that day to make a purchase, most of them closed at about that time. Jim was an entertaining and informative tour guide. Love the fact that they limit the tour to 10 people. Will probably do it again with my husband. I'm buying tickets for my sister and brother-in-law, and can't wait to go on the Chinatown tour next. |

A perfect afternoon. Michelle, the guide was an excellent source of information regarding the history of the North End. The 6 shops that we stopped at were all unique and Michelle's presentation at each shop was outstanding. With the information which was given, can't wait to go back and spend another day shopping. I have already reccommended this tour to friends and associates. Truely felt like an afternoon spent in Italy ! |

What a neat tour! We were in town from Dallas, TX and found Michelle's tour to be fun, informative and a great insight into Italian cooking and ingredients. |

My mother and I took this tour for her birthday present and our guide, Al, was fantastic. We learned a lot, enjoyed some delicious samples, and are new cooking more authentically Italian-American food at home! |
