We had a wonderful time on this tour of the North End. Our daughter had a brief trip home from college so we decided to spend time doing this. The information was interesting, the sights were lovely and the samples of food delicious! Michele went out of her way to make this tour fun and special for us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! |

Immerse yourself in the Italian culture and tradition of good food beginning with the finest ingredients. Knowledgeable tour guide with cooperative shop owners make for an enjoyable three hours. |

We highly recommend this guided tour of Boston's North End and it's culinary history. Jim, our guide, was informative, entertaining and attentive. He did a wonderful job of sharing the rich history of Italian cuisine from it regional origins through the many influences that brought it to the present day. We will never look at food the same way again.
We are anxious to plan our next visit to Boston so that we can take the Chinatown Tour!
Thank you for wonderful experience.

If it weren't such a HOT day, I certainly would have enjoyed the tour even more. Our tour guide was very kind in letting us stand in shady spots as much as possible, and allowed us to buy water and sit along the way making it as tolerable as possible given the conditions.
I really enjoyed Beth, our tour guide, and the tour experience. I learned alot and really got the flavor of Little Italy, Boston. I LOVED the food tastings, talking about wine, Polcari's, Maria's, the home life of residents, the grocery store, the lemon slush -- great memories. I hope I remember all that I learned.
I only wish I had learned about more about olive oil and I wish I could remember what I tasted. No complaints. I really appreciate the handouts, maybe the tastings will be listed there, I'm not sure. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed the tour.
Thanks for asking my opinion.

Very interesting to my son and I with our Italian heritage. We both enjoy cooking and learned some new and interesting facts we intend to use in the future. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We ate at two of the recommended restaurants and were not disappointed. The eggplant at Altu's was the best I've ever had. |

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour which combined history, culinary information, and tastings in just the right balance. Our only warnings are that the tour involves quite a bit of standing and walking and that it is not child friendly. While most stops on the tour are age and interest neutral, the produce stop will really only appeal to serious foodies and the wine stop is certainly no fun for those under 21. |

A very interesting look at the culinary and demographic history of the North End of Boston, from a different angle than the usual one. It was very much enjoyed by all the ages levels in our group. |

Our tour group included family members from age 70 to age 12 and everyone had a great time. We are familiar with the North End and have gone to dinner there many times. On the tour we learned many new facts about the North End and found some great shops and restaurants. This is a wonderful tour for Boston locals as well as tourists. |

The entire experience is wonderful. You are given great information about the food and its history, not to mention the fabulous samples of food you eat during the tour. My only suggestion would be that the group be gathered in an area that is not distracting and noisy when the tour begins. There is a lot of great information given at the start of the tour and although the park is very nice, the water and traffic make it difficult to hear everything the guide is saying. |
