| Instead of celebrating a birthday at a restaurant, we invited family members to join in a new and different experience, learning about Italian foods available in the North End of Boston. The tour guide was extremely knowledgible and he made this event a memorable one. |

| We have lived near Boston for nearly 40 years and have worked in the city, off and on, for many of those years. Unfortunately, the North End has always been a bit of a mystery to us. Our "adventures" have been largely restricted to Hanover Street with the occasional venture to small restaurants on side streets. As food and travel lovers, this tour (with our best friend of many years ago, now living in CA but also a fan of the North End) was a perfect way to start a long weekend reunion. Jim was our guide and we couldn't have been in better hands. He was a terrific teacher and we learned so much. We enjoyed all of our stops and the tastings along the way. After the tour, we had lunch, created a shopping list and purchased ingredients for a delicious dinner, which we prepared together that evening. We concluded our long weekend with dinner at one of the restaurants listed on the brochure and toasted our friendship and good fortune for having participated in this tour. Thank you for this wonderful experience! |

| What a fantastic afternoon we spent in the North End! We learned so much and sampled some great food and drink. The tour exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it highly! We will be back to shop in the many generous stores that we visited. It felt like we spent the afternoon in Italy!

| I had been looking for something fun to do in the city, and a friend told me about this tour. It was a great time!! We had a great guide named Jim, who told us the inside story at several hole-in-the-wall places, ranging from bakery, produce shop, dry goods store, deli, pasta shop and wine store. We learned where the authentic goods are sold, and where to avoid the touristy shops. All with great insight from Jim using his chef knowledge and skills. There a few great tastings along the way as well!! This tour was a lot of fun and a homerun if you're with friends, on a date, or simply out for a day of fun on your own. |
