| We enjoyed our guides wealth of info on the history of the area, its residents and the wonderful food. The only thing that would have improved our tour is more places with a little more space and more tastings. The tastings in the bakery were wonderful and seeing the owner and her mom delightful. It was as if time had stopped with so much tradition. The veg stand would have been nice to walk into just to see. I learned something new about eggplant !!!! Would have been nice to taste a few of the wines and for the owner to pop over with some info. The spice and grain store was delightfully old fashioned and I know better than to ever taste a dried chickpea again. Alot like eating salted sand. A bottle of water or a place to purchase one would have been nice. With all that said I would sign up to go again and was sorry to hear the tour of China town was full. We went back to the area for dinner at Monica's and was fab. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go back to shop. Thanks again to our tour guide , he was a delight!!!!! |

| Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about the area and were surprised when the time was up. The tour was extremely interesting and we got handouts because he knew we would want to be able to go back later and stock up. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in the area who likes to know more about food and some history. Many tastes were provided to make you want to stay at each place. Each place we stopped had very friendly staff. We went back to each place in the following days and received special treatment everywhere. We saw other tours stop and listen to ours. Pay a little more and get the best. Don't settle for the cheap imitation! |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He was sure to ask about allergies and explained restrictions respectfully and with authority. It was clear the he not only knew a lot about the area, but also the food in general. We learned so much about the North End and the variety of foods discussed.
It is very helpful to know where to shop and what to look for. Our experience was everything we hoped it would be.
We'll be back! We have recommended this tour to several people and plan to take family members in the future |

| Great tour - learned so much about the food and history of the North End. I was worried that three hours would be too long, but it just flew by. The handout provided allowed us to visit the stores after the tour. I have already recommended the tour to friends. |

| This amazing walking tour of Italian culture and cuisine in Boston's North End is fascinating and fun! The tourguide leads you through the quaint neighborhood to visit various shops, tasting samples of everything from proscuitto to pastries to Limoncello! If you're not Italian, you'll wish you were, by the end of the tour! |

| This was absolutely a great tour. Our guide was informed, interesting, and fun. The afternoon was filled with history, geography, tips on plants, products, prep and cooking, local restaurants and shops. Fascinating! I would like to have taken notes, but would have missed a lot doing so; the handouts are very helpful. My daughter, who has traveled in Italy, and I were sorry when it was over, but excited to dive into "authentic" Italian cooking and reading at home. My somewhat sceptical husband loved it, as well. A repeat of the tour would be worthwhile, but I would like to try the Chinatown Market Tour next time. This tour is a must if you enjoy Italian food and culture, and if you don't enjoy it now, you will after the tour. Thanks for a terrific time. |

| My husband and I had a marvelous experience on this, the best tour of the North End there could possibly be. It was my second experience, and I'm so glad I went again as I'd forgotten so many valuable and important bits of information. Thanks again Jim!

| We enjoyed Jim's knowledge of the area and his knowledge of food and cooking. We enjoyed the whole experience. We so enjoyed the North end tour that we called Michele's number and signed up for the Chinatown tour the next day. |
