| The tour had an appropriate amount of samples of delicious meats, cheeses, pasteries, oils, and fruits and was an interesting Boston neighborhood to visit. The guide spent a lot of time telling stories about Italy and to a lesser extent the culture of Boston and American Italian food. Nearly all the people in my tour group had visited Italy, so I'd wished the emphasis was shifted more toward Boston Italian culture, history and cuisine. Also, I would've liked to see demonstrated some specific culinary tricks or recipes, rather than just gain new familiarity with storefronts. However, this tour will keep you entertained and satisfied for a few hours. |

| This tour was really fun even though it was pretty cold outside! Beth did an excellent job teaching us about the North End food and customs. We were very impressed by her knowledge and she inspired us to shop, cook and dine the authentic Italian way! Thank you Beth! |

| My husband and I were visiting our daughter who is doing an internship in Boston. She has an apartment in the North End and we thought this would be a great way to learn about her new neighborhood. It most certainly was. The tour was informative and tasty! Our daughter said that she had walked past a number of these stores, but felt uncomfortable going in. Since the tour she has visited some of them and plans to get to the others on the weekend. It was a great activity for her and us. |

| This tour was the highlight of our mother daughter weekend. My daughter enjoyed as much as I did and she doesn't cook . The procuitto(probably mispelled) and cheese was the best. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable Not a lot of walking but a lot of standing. |

| We were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to take what turned out to be a private tour with our host Jim Becker. His indepth knowledge of food took this tour to a much higher level than any food tour we have participated in. The historic information provided about the North End added to our enjoyment. We found all the merchants that we were introduced to on the tour remembered us as tour guests when we returned and went out of their way to be helpful to us. |

| Our day touring the North End was fantastic. Tour guide, Jim Becker, was the best. His knowledge of all things Italian is very impressive and delivered the narration with grace and humor. Thanks to all that have worked so hard to make this tour so exciting. Thanks also to the North End community for allowing us to get a glimse of your everyday lives. I have already recommended the tour to many of my friends.
Sincerely,
-Bryan and Colleen from New Hampshire |

| My family used to visit relatives in the North end when I was a little girl. This brought back some great memories! And some of the cooking info is still being discussed today! I can't wait to make eggplant parmagian (with a boy eggplant) and serve a fennel salad! Thanks for a great time! |

| This was my 2nd tour and both were great. Jim, our guide, took care to try to balance our time outside in - 7 degree wind chill weather, with enough time inside to feel warm again.
One suggestion - it would be nice if the shops we visited offered coupons for a discount on purchases, even if just for a limited time. I think it would encourage purchases and spread good will. |
