| This tour was very informative and fun. I really enjoyed trying all of the foods. Now I cannot go back to the imitation oils, meats and cheeses. |

| Went in the winter. I would like to do it again when it's warmer. I enjoyed the history of the area as well as the culture of Italy. The information I got helped me to make better purchases while in the north end and at home. It also gave me less touristy places to try. This allowed me to enjoy the meals I had on my short vacation in the area. |

| If you have an appreciation for anything Italian then this activity is for you. My Husband, Mother-in-law and myself totally enjoyed an early afternoon touring the North End. It started with our tour guide JIm who was the perfect host. He is extremely knowledgeable in Italian culture as well as all of the places we toured. His personality made for a great time. We sampled many delicious tidbits and learned some interesting facts. The tour lasted 3 hours and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Afterward Jim recommended a few places for us to go to lunch. Once again he was right on the mark. We had a great lunch which was the perfect end to a really fun day. |

| This Italian tour of the North End in Boston was excellent. Jim, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as Italian cuisine and culture. He also gave excellent cooking tips and information on what to look for when you are at home doing your shopping. It was very cold outside the morning of our tour but well worth the money. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys food. |

| Having lived in the Boston area all my life and of Italian descent, I thought the tour would be mediocre at best. Boy was I surprised....I learned different things about the history of the north end and how it developed. Also, how the Italian culture changed based on the demographics of the area.
I also never realized what great local shops existed in the North End and how the quality of the products was vastly superior to local supermarkets. I know now if you want good high quality food ( cold cuts, cheeses, olive oils, liquors, pastries etc), you need to shop in the North End.
I recommend this tour strongly and I am planning on doing the Chinatwon tour next... |

| My wife and I did the tour as part of a Valentines Day in Boston and had a wonderful time. My wife and I lived about 10 minutes walk from the North End for a couple of years and I grew up learning to cook from an Italian grandmother. On top of that I am an avid FoodTV and food book nut. Even with my pretty extensive background in Italian cuisine and culture, I learned quite a bit and found several places in the North End that we hadn't discovered. I'd highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys food and learning about different cultures and their assimilation into America. Our guide was clearly very passionate about the people and the topic and made it very enjoyable for everyone in the tour. Thanks!!! |
