My three daughters (ages 19, 16 1nd 13) and I loved this tour. Our guide, I think his name was Jim, was very knowledgeable and friendly and we so enjoyed his comments. The shops were fabulous and the samples delicious. So glad that we joined this tour. |

A Tour of the North End Not To Be Missed |

This tour was so.....much more than the tastings at every stop. Though the tastings were not to be missed. Our tour guide, Jim, who was extremely knowledgeable about the North End and Italy, imparted so much interesting information, history, anecdotes, that one couldn't help but be entertained. The handouts were an added bonus and were helpful on which to take notes about particular shops and products. In the future I will be able to shop in the North End comfortably and knowledgeably. We look forward to Jim's up and coming walking tour of Boston's Chinatown. Cudos to Jim for a job well done!!!!! |

I would recommend this tour to anyone. Our tour guide, Jim, was informative, helpful, enthusiastic & also, funny, which was a bonus.
The tour was timed,but we never felt rushed. We covered quite a few local markets,but not too many. Had lots of time for questions & samples!!
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour!! The things we learned will be with us forever. |

It was a great thing for a couple with out kids to experience. Not a lot of taste testing (but that was expected). The great thing was all the information. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys culture and food and can stand to be on their feet for at least 3 hours :-) |

Jim was terrific, interesting - I didn't want to go, but went because my friends wanted to - and I loved it. Learned a lot, enjoyed learning about quality Italian food and about the North End. |

I booked this trip as a Mothers' Day treat for my mom, grandmother and myself to take. My grandmother, who has taken any number of tours, described it as her best ever. Our guide was wonderful...very knowledgeable, and he had a great rapport with all the shopkeepers we visited. We learned interesting tidbits about Italian cuisine and culture, as well as about the North End. I've lived in Boston for five years, but I learned more about the city in those three hours than in the previous years combined, even if it was specific to 1/3 of a square mile! It was an excellent experience, and I've already recommended it to everyone I know. THANK YOU! |

We toured with a gentleman named Dick Meli (not sure of spelling).He was fun, informative friendly. My husband uses a cane chair due to Parkinson's he was always making sure he could sit when the talks were going on. We really enjoyed the merchants and only wish we could have taken some of the balsamic vinegar home. But we did not wish to have a broken bottle in our checked luggage. I would recommed this for foodies and just men and women who enjoy a new experience. I'll give this a 5 *****. |

We were very lucky to have Jim as our tour guide. He was very informative and pleasant and alot of fun to be with. He answered any and all questions that were asked by my group as well as the others that were with us.
We all look forward to attending any other offers that you may be offering in the future. Please keep me updated so I can pass any and all information onto my group.
Also Jim's recomendations for lunch, bakery shop and grocerys were outstanding. Maria's Lobster Tails are the BEST (Just like Jim said)

My husband and I love the North End and this tour just made us love it even more. Learning about the culture, foods, traditions etc was very interesting and entertaining. Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. We highly recommend this tour for the Italian lovers and those who wish to be Italian!
