We LOVED the North End tour

| We had heard this tour of the Northend was great from numerous friends- but no one could really describe how fun, historically interesting, and educational this was . Jim was our guide and wove wonderful stories and anecdotes into the walk. LOVED poking around the small stores and trying different foods. Everyone from my group has been enthusiastically recommending this to our co-workers and friends. I've already offered this to friends when they come out to visit! This is THE BEST! |

| This tour was very fun and very educational. I'll never look at a bottle of olive oil the same. My father is first-generation Italian-American, and it took him back to his childhood; he absolutely loved it. Our tour guide, Jim, was funny and very knowledgeable about Italian cooking and its history. I would recommend this tour very highly! |

An Enjoyable Afternoon in the North End

| After many years of visiting Boston, we enjoyed having the opportunity to be in the North End for an extended time and learn about the Italian food traditions. The tour guide was very knowledgeable not only about the food but also about different aspects of the Italian language and culture. All of the shops were interesting. It was great to find out about recommended restaurants and then, to have a chance to eat dinner in one of them that night after the tour. We hope to go back and revisit some of the stores and of course, try another restaurant! |

| My husband and I took the tour not knowing exactly what to expect. I was so pleased we went into it without much information as we were surprised at every turn. Our tour guide (Not Michele-a gentleman who is a former chef-forgot his name) was so interesting and knowledgeable about the stores, people, culture, and history of the North End. He introduced us to so many foods and flavors with anecdotes to go along with each item/store/person. A truly special tour. I would do it again in a heartbeat. |

| An incredible amount of information was packed into our tour......about history, food, culture, cooking, diet and of course, the neighborhood. Our guide (Jim) was personable, fun, funny and as mentioned, very knowledgeable. I wanted to plan, shop and host a dinner party immediately after the tour. |

| Jim, our tour guide was so knowledgeable. I am a caterer so I love anything to do with food. I took my Mom as a birthday gift. We both really enjoyed it. We are considering doing the Chinatown tour. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed the North End Market Tour along with my daughter and a good friend. It was like a private tour since it was just the three of us. Our guide, Jim, was very imformative. We plan on going back into the North End before the holidays to purchase some food products that interested us. It was really nice to be able to sample some of the food products, olive oil and vinegar.
Would highly recommend the tour and would certainly make a wonderful gift for someone. |
