| The tour was great. Interesting, never a dull moment! The 3 hours fly by. We learned about many things including Italian history, Boston history, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, fennel and figs.
I highly recommend this tour even if you think you know all about the North End (I lived there for 10 years and still learned new things). |

| Anyone who is interested in food and cooking should not miss this tour. My friend and I were impressed with the guide who was clearly very knowledgeable about the marketplace--as well as the history and culture of the neighborhood. Her tidbits about the local color were delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. |

| We did both the Chinatown and North End Tours with Jim. We learned about wines, pasta, cheese, spices and had wonderful samples at each place. We found terrific places and wonderful people. I highly recommend this tour!! |

| We really enjoyed all aspects of the tour. The introductory history of the North End and the talk about regional Italian cooking were helpful in setting the context for the rest of the tour. We liked having handouts as a reference for later. The stops were all interesting in different ways, and the "taste treats" were perfect for the settings. Our only suggestion would be to know in advance where the next stop is - the walking pace was brisk, and the North End was VERY crowded. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with the group. Overall, Jim the "tourguide" was knowlegable, friendly, and good about answering questions. We had a great time and I'm already telling people about this little "in town" vacation. |

| The guide was very informative, easy to understand. He showed a great wealth of knowledge of both Italy, and Boston’s North End. I will be recommending this to many people who are fond of food and the Italian culture. |
