Our tour guide (Jimmy?) was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Learned lots about Boston history in addition to the North End's culinary history. Diverse stops on the tour. Great neighborhood. Very nice locals. Check it out. |

My sister, from Ohio, had read about this tour and wanted to take it. We enjoyed being in the North End and going into the shops where everyone was friendly and the samples delicious.
The tour guide was very informed and articulate and had a good rapport with the shop owners. |

Historical information about the North End and its rise in popularity. Many comparisons of the old country with todays ethnic Itallian neighborhood. Great information for those who seek the hidden ingredience of itallian dishes that would benefit the novice to the more experinced cook with a desire to learn some Itallian recipe's.
Our tour guide was insightful and gracious in taking the time to answer our many questions with clarity and delightful personality. I would highly recommend this tour. The handouts that you take home are valueable reference material for your next trip to the North End.. |

We had a great time learning the history, culture & many other fun, interesting & enlightening details about the North End and Italian Cuisine. But I think that the most fun was really getting a feel for the shops & the shop owners' histories ...some being 3rd & 4th generation. And of course...... the taste testing was wonderful! Thanks! |

Our tour was very informative and interesting. We learned a BUNCH about the area and about food! Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in food or this "Little Italy" neighborhood & especially to visitors. Wish we would have taken your Chinatown tour!! (but we had limited time in Boston). I hope you keep on giving the tours. |

Raymond was our tour guide - he was quite knowledgable, especially having been a chef for many years, answered any and all questions. Gave us some very useful cooking tips, types of oils, vinegars, pasta, wines and meats to look for and also interesting historical facts about the North End we were unaware of. 3 hours were over before you knew it despite the heat - not difficult walking if people are apprehensive about how much walking is involved, basically a 2-4 block radius. I would recommend this tour if you enjoy Italian cooking, wine or pasteries and interested in where you can find these items in the North End. |

My husband and I have taken similar tours with this company. This was our third one, all different cities. The tour guide was very nice and informative. We were disappointed that he wasn't Italian. We kind of thought that would have been more apporpriate and helpful for pronouncing words. We were dissapointed also with the lack of food. I know this isn't the whole focus but I thought it could have been bumped up and portions too. I think to actually include some restaurants would have been wondrful. The one that we did with your company in NYC in Grennwhich Village blew our minds so its hard not to compare. But if you haven't done one before you would enjoy this. |
